How effective is Wii when it comes to exercise?
Let’s face it. One of the biggest challenges and hurdles that game companies and their employees face is the fact that many people believe that obsessive gaming can have some MAJOR effects on a person’s health. Due to the lethargic habits that most people tend to develop when they become freakishly obsessed when it comes to gaming, their health takes a huge toll from the lack of physical exercise (and no, exercising through flicking the remote does not qualify as a form of exercise). Well, we can never under estimate gaming moguls (or moguls to generalize) when it comes to sniffing out money.

Rock Band is an eagerly awaited rhythm game, obviously centering around a glorified
career as part of what should become a world renowned rock band - if you play it right, literally. With MTV Games being behind the title, and with Harmonix on board too, the pioneers of rhythm gaming, Rock Band has a wealth of experience within the music and music gaming industries to give it a kick-start when it’s released shortly outside of the US.
Like other similar titles, a range of peripherals will be available allowing you to get the full benefit from the game - all the typical instrument based controllers you could associate with a rock band, needless to say these will be sold separately and will increase the cost of your personal Rock Band package, but if you’re into music or party games, the added expense could prove worthwhile. “New information from the U.S. Census Bureau reinforces the value of a college education: workers 18 and over with a bachelor’s degree earn an average of $51,206 a year, while those with a high school diploma earn $27,915. Workers with an advanced degree make an average of $74,602 and those without a high school diploma average $18,734”, according to the U.S. Census Bureau website.
Yes, college degrees can double your earnings for the year. Although relying solely on your talent is not really that bad, as there are lots of millionaires, and even billionaires, out there who were not lucky enough to get into college due to lack of funds or whatnot, it is the thing is, not everyone can rise to the top as the lucky ones were able to do. Seems to a lot of people, there are a lot of mess ups and mistakes happening in the gaming world recently. Not only are unlikely and potentially messy mergers happening everywhere (but these companies might just prove us wrong, no one is a total know-who when it comes to the ever changing flavor of the masses), but companies seem to be totally going nuts when it comes to their console and game pricing. Pricing, which should have been one of the first things in these (ahem, money grabbing) corporate hotshots minds seem to be getting unpredictable and even mind boggling.

Grand Theft Auto 4 is arguably the most anticipated new release of the decade, and the wait is about to be over with it’s imminent release on April 29th. If you haven’t already pre-ordered it, do it now - as it could well be banned in your country very soon.

The streets are just as rough in Liberty City, perhaps rougher, and Rockstar has gone to great lengths to re-create some of New York’s most recognizable landmarks to feature in your destructive reign of crime.

Rock Band, one of the biggest and most successful games nowadays is ready for its UK debut. But hey, there seems to be a lot of chaos going on. No wonder Harmonix were so tight lipped about the price tags of this phenomenal game… They knew the angry mob was going to get them; they were just trying to stall them.
If you are a gamer in the US, and you already have the game, you’re lucky. UK fans need to shell out £95 more than you did in the land of the free. Yup, gaming is getting more and more expensive, so to the gamers out there who are not yet earning a steady income, you better prepare, who knows how much you’ll have to pay for a hot game next month.
