Mario Kart for Nintendo Wii
Nintendo is taking the hints from the countless fans of Mario Kart and Mario Kart for the Nintendo Wii has been created and will be released in America on the 27th of April this year. April will hold the release dates for Mario Kart Wii for countries all over the world. To make the racing game a little more interactive and exciting, the game will be sold with the Wii Wheel. The Wiimote will fit inside the Wii Wheel for a more modern way of steering the kart.
GAMEPLAY
Mario Kart for the Nintendo Wii is very much like the Mario Kart games that preceded it for the Nintendo 64, and for the Nintendo DS in that the game is based on single player mode. Mario kart Double Dash was created for the Nintendo GameCube and featured two player mode. The player will have options when it comes to which controller he wants to use. Mario Kart Wii will be compatible to the Wiimote its self, the Wiimote in the Wii Wheel, the Wiimote with the Nunchuk, the Nintendo GameCube controller, or the Wii Classic Nintendo Controller.
Speculation has claimed that the game will support the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Apparently this will feature battle and racing modes online. These modes will be capable for up to 12 players. Pretty much there will be online leagues for the game. The leagues will have international and local rankings. The sweetest part? The whole league experience will take place in a separate Wii channel. The channel will be called nothing less than: The Mario Kart Wii Channel. This speacial channel will feature the ability to send saved time-trial ghost data. Additionally, it will feature worldwide events and will be hosted be Nintendo.
The European version of Mario Kart Wii will feature an online chat among players. A spectator option for the online mode will also be included. This will allow the players to view their friends as they race with the ability to join at the start of the next race. Nintendo will organize special online events that will be held worldwide.
In the chat section of Mario Kart Wii players will have the ability to select from pre-existing phrases. Some people are getting nervous about the chat room and claim that it may be a little “too safe”.
The greatest part of the game is that it will feature weapons that were used in the other Mario kart games and will also include perfectly new choices of weapons. Some complaints have taken place regarding the Wii Wheel. People have said that it doesn’t work right, but keep in mind that there are a wide range of controller choices.
On top of the other great features that were added, like the new weapons and chat among players, there are now motorcycles in the game! Players have the option as to use a kart or a motorcycle. Players can use a kart while another player simultaneously uses a motorcycle.
Tricks can be performed while the character is in the air. To perform the trick, the palyer must move the Wiimote or Wii Wheel. The game will feature a WHOPPING 16 new tricks for the players to utilize along with 16 remakes of old tricks! The experienced Mario Kart player will know that the 16 remade tricks are featured in the Nintendo DS version. Along with all the other great new features there will be 10 battle stages added. The Nintendo Wii Miis will be able to be used as characters in the game and through the exclusive Nintendo Wii Mario Kart channel; the players will be able to download the ghosts times of other players. In addition, a new boost system has been incorporated into the game.

This game seems really well put together. I already have a reservation put in for the game. Let’s hope that it lives up to all of the hype.
Thanks,
Lukario
