Ninja Gaiden II is the sequel to the original Ninja Gaiden game that was created for the Xbox 360. Ninja Gaiden II is scheduled to be released in June of this year. Team Ninja is developing the game for the Xbox 360. Microsoft Game Studios is publishing Ninja Gaiden II soley for the Xbox 360. Team Ninja usually develops games that are published by Tecmo. Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos was created for the NES, however Ninja Gaiden II for the Xbox 360 is not the same game as the earlier edition.
GAME PLAY
The player will guide the main character, Ryu Hayabusa, throughout the game. The mission is to avenge the clan of Ryu Hayabusa and also to put a stop to the destruction of the human race. Ryu will have access to an array of ninja weapons. The main player will have to expertly guide Ryu to fight his way through dangers, hazards and risks. New games play, new health regenerators, new levels, new adventures, new nemeses, and ultimately, new combat weapons will give the player a new level of intense action game play.
DEVELOPMENT
Leaks in the development system provide the information that Ninja Gaiden II will offer new weapons for Ryu Hayabusa like the scythe and shoes with blades on them. Areas where the levels of the game may take place are Italy, Japan and New York. The new health system is supposed to have features so that health can be restored at save points. The story mode is 30 hours long. Some of the old weapons have new features and there are new weapons all together. There is also a new part of the Master Ninja tournament.
CHARACTERS
Ryu Hayabusa is the main character. He is the leader and also the protector of the Dragon Sword and he is also the leader and protector of the Hayabusa village. Ryu Hayabusa single-handedly destroyed the Vigoor Empire and the leaders: Doko and Muri.
Joe Hayabusa is Ryu Hayabusa’s father. Joe was far away training and has finally returned to take over as the leader of the Hayabusa Ninjas. Joe was hurt in a battle and must remain in his home and rest. He lives in the Castle of the Dragon. The Black Spider Clan slowly came to wreak havoc on the village of the Hayabusa Ninjas.
Genshin is the leader of the evil Black Spider Clan. Genshin is desparate to gain power and un-soulfully hates Ryu Hayabusa and all in his family. Genshin becomes so lustful for the power over the Ninjas that he allows himself to fall into an allegiance with the fiends. He is determined to kill Ryu and end the war.
Sonia works for the CIA and wanted to get into contact with Ryu because of a demon statue and because of the revival of arch-fiends.
Elizabet is the ruler of blood and the queen of the Greater fiends. She is asked to go get an ancient artifact from the village of Ryu Hayabusa’s ancestors. She kicks into motion the events that Ryu and the Ninja’s must fight to save the human race.
Volf rules the storms and is one of the four great fiends. He is a blood thirsty fighter who seeks to fight one equal to himself.
Muramasa is a blacksmith with moves made of silk. He was introduced initially to Ninja Gaiden in the orginal game in 2004. He also showed up in Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword.
Alexei is one of the four great fiends and is the Ruler of Lightning. He has an immeasurable hatred for the human race. He took New York under his wrath and waits on the Statue of Liberty for Ryu Hayabusa to come to him and fight.
Zedonius is the ruler of fire. He uses fire as a defense and claims that he introduced fire to humans. He dislikes humans and often refers to them in disrespectful ways.
