Buying a character? Take heed.
Type character for sale in Google.com, and you will come up with more or less a million results in a few seconds. Yup, characters are being sold nowadays, especially for MMPROG (Massively Multiplayer online role-playing game: is a genre of computer role-playing games (CRPGs) in which a large number of players interact with one another in a virtual world- wikipedia.org).
The price range of these characters in the market is mostly based on the build and level, and quite amazingly, they are a huge hit. Most people say that half of the fun of playing online games is going through the entire process of being a newbie or novice (being picked on, starting out dirt poor, trying to scavenge any item that you can find in the fields, etc.), yet it seems that the fast pace style of real life is starting to catch up on the virtual one. Even if the prices per characters are as low as $10 to a hefty $50.
Of course not everyone agrees to such kind of marketing ploys. The real gamers would never ever buy off another character nurtured by someone else. But there are many new gamers out there who would rather get a strong character than try and build their own one. Most of these gamers have money to spare, and not time. Well, there might be some people out there who are willing to level up their characters for them, for a nice plum sum of course, but that’s another story.
It can be expected that newbies who go straight ahead to buying out strong characters than developing their own, tend to lose their interest rather quickly for that particular game. This is a minus, of course, because when you play these MMPROGs, you should at least be, ahem, interested (or rather, addicted) for a couple of months, since your characters would, and should, receive your utmost attention. People who make it a habit to get into a certain game and buy a strong character also often do not know how the game is played, and end out being abused by others, or, abuse other players. That’s because they’re so new (maybe as young as a couple of days into the game) but they can access and stay alive on the harder levels, yet they do not have a clue as to the written rules, as well as those that are unspoken and should-be-understood ethics. Imagine, a level 99 wizard, not knowing what PVP means?
So to those who are newbies in a game, or to the gaming world in general, try not to get into the market of this kind (unless absolutely necessary, for what sane reason, we don’t know), for sure in the long run, you are going to regret it.

I have played MMO games since the early 90’s Neverwinternights 1 and text based MMO’s. I would consider purchasing an account really selling yourself short of a lot of game content that rules. I feel like the best part is building a guild so if you need help creating a guild website just check out http://www.guildbuild.com. I include guides to help you build your site and get new/old players enrolled.
More to come to that site soon so stay tuned . . . .
