Nintendo Accessory increases Wii remote accuracy

Nintendo has officially unveiled a little secret for us before the opening of E3. Their new accessory will enable a smoother and more accurate Wii remote (or Wii-mote as I like to call them) during game-play or navigating your system. The devise comes in the form of an adapter that sticks in the bottom of your remote as your num-chuck would. It has an additional slot in which your num-chuck can fit into so you don’t have to worry about giving up your second controller for more accuracy! Nintendo calls their new device the Wii MotionPlus. Nintendo also insists it will “more quickly and accurately reflect motions in a 3D space”. Nintendo will reveal more about their product during the heart of E3 on how, more specifically, it works and most likely a price as no price tag has been set yet. Source
I’ve always kind of thought of the Wii-mote as a 3D mouse in which you can move all directions and I have also noticed a slight lag behind each movement. Perhaps this device will clear up that? If it’s too expensive I probably won’t get one however. I wonder what else Nintendo has up their sleeve for E3. They have been awfully quite as of recently. (Heres hoping for a new Zelda Title!)
