Blizzard Entertainment has announced that this October 10th and 11th the third Blizzcon Gaming Convention will be held to showcase their amazing portfolio of Diablo, Starcraft, and WarCraft games. The event will be at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Announcing their long awaited sequel to Starcraft, Starcraft 2 and their just recently announced Diablo 3, fans will be pleased to know there will be ample coverage over these amazing franchises with the honor of playing them as well as news on tournaments, contests and other various activities. The development of Starcraft 2 is certainly a sight to behold for RTS fans and they won’t disappoint with the new changes and planned alterations of not only Starcraft 2 but Diablo 3 as well.

You can expect to pay $100.00 for those golden tickets and they will go on sale August 11th. However, if you’re a penny short or a thousand miles away you are still able to be there not only in spirit but via DirectTV! DirectTV’s pay per view will have exclusive HD coverage of the whole event and will deliver a “minimum of eight hour live HD coverage” of the show. This is Blizzards first time working DirectTV but both companies feel strongly that there will be a large turnout for both. More good news consists of free viewing for new subscribers to DirectTV. How amazing would it be to attend such an event for Blizzard fans?
