Final Fantasy IV

Final Fantasy IV is a pumped up version of the original Final Fantasy IV. It was released in 1991. The new Final Fantasy IV was released for the Nintendo DS to add to the hype in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Final Fantasy Series. Final Fantasy IV for the DS won’t be released in Europe on September 5th 2008.
As mentioned previously, Matrix Software developed Final Fantasy IV for the Nintendo DS. Matrix Software also developed Final Fantasy III. The original development team supervised the development of the newest Final Fantasy. Takashi Tokita took on the role as the executive producer and also as director. Tomoya Asano led the role of producer. Hiroyuki Ito was the battle designer. Yoshinori Kanada is an animator who took the role to storyboard the new cut scenes.
GAME PLAY
Final Fantasy IV imitates Final Fantasy III DS in that it features an opening FMV sequence. Final Fantasy IV maintains the original Active Time Battle System from the first Super Nintendo release. The controls for Final Fantasy IV are similar to how they were for Final Fantasy III on the Nintendo DS. The stylus can be used only limitedly, and is all together optional. This is to allow players to maintain the same control input. Other players are able to use the touch controls available only on the Nintendo DS.
In the new Final fantasy a new system is available. That new system is referred to as the Augment System and also as the Decant Ability System. The new system allows for character abilities to be transferred to other characters that previously were unable to take on characteristics different than their own. Up to three of the character’s characteristics or abilities can be temporary, pulled from other characters. When temporary characters are leaving the party, they will surrender their abilities. Depending on how many they were given, sheds light on how many they can give up. New characteristics are available in different places and after completing different levels.
The new game also features a new command menu customization. All commands in the character’s battle menu except the item’s command can be substituted with augments. This includes abilities that ate ordinarily available in a group only.
The new system, The Augment System, was created to be interchanged with the system in Final Fantasy IV Advance. The characters that were just temporary in the original version jump back and become playable again at a particular point in the game. The developers said that the Augment System changed the game to too much of an extent.
