Mario Super Sluggers

ABOUT THE GAME
Mario Super Sluggers is a sports video game for the Nintendo Wii. It was developed by Namco Bandai and was published by the ever-popular Nintendo. Previously, it has been referred to as Super Mario Stadium Baseball.
Mario Super Sluggers for the Nintendo Wii is the sequel to Mario Superstar Baseball that was created for the Nintendo GameCube. This game is part of the Mario Sports Series.
The game was released in Japan in the middle of June and in North America at the end of August. The game has yet to be released in Australia, but the release date for them will be at the end of September.
GAME MODES
Mario Super Sluggers game modes are pretty much the same as Mario Superstar Baseball.
EXHIBITION MODE
Exhibition Mode is a mode where the game allows the players to choose their captain and players. The players get to choose the number of innings to play, but the batting order is determined by a coin. The players also get to choose to play in which stadium and during the day or night.
CHALLENGE MODE
In Challenge Mode, Mario is the initial character, and the player has to play to recruit all the other characters. Playing also unlocks other stadiums.
TOY MODE
In Toy Mode, the players will have to try and hit the baseballs to certain points around the field, while the rest of the players try to catch the ball in play. When a player succeeds and catches a ball, they will get to bat. At the end of the game points are tallied and the player with the greatest number of points will win the game!
PRACTICE
Players, who are unfamiliar with the game, will have an opportunity to practice, hitting, fielding, and even base running.
GAMEPLAY
The Gameplay of Mario Super Sluggers matches closely with that of its forerunner: Mario Superstar Baseball for the Nintendo GameCube. The major differences between the games are, of course, the controls. The Wiimote adds interest to the game as the gameplay is similar to that of the Baseball game in Wii Sports. The player has three options for controls. Those options are: Wiimote alone, The Wiimote accompanied by the Nunchuck, or the Wiimote held sideways.
Gameplay like batting and pitching is like the Baseball game in Wii Sports. After the player hits the ball, the player presses the A button to advance the player to the bases. The player will use the B button to make the player to back the previous base. Each captain has a star pitch like the one in Mario Superstar.
Out fielding is played by the player shaking the Wiimote. The players in the field can distracted from catching the ball by other players, who can throw objects at them.
STADIUMS
There are ten stadiums to be played; most can be played in day or night settings. The following is the list of the confirmed stadiums:
1. Mario Stadium
2. Peach Ice Garden
3. Wario City
4. Yoshi Park
5. DK Jungle
6. Daisey Crusier (has to be unlocked)
7. Luigi’s Mansion (has to be unlocked)
8. Bowser Jr. Playroom (can only be played during the day).
9. Bowser Castle (can only be played at night).
10. Toy Field
