Guitar Hero World Tour was originally dubbed Guitar Hero IV.  It is to be released October 26th. It is a music video game for the Guitar Hero Series. On October 26th the game is expected to be released for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation3, Wii, and Xbox 360.

Guitar Hero World Tour will continue to use the guitar-shaped controller to replicate rock music on the television screen. Guitar Hero World Tour will feature drum and microphone controllers to allow players to take part in percussion and vocal parts. Gameplay will be fairly equivalent to the competition in rock band games: Rock Band. New interests in the game included: players will be allowed to create new songs using the drums, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and bass guitar. However, the studio mode will not allow players to record vocals due to copyrights and storage space limitations. Eagle Eye

Eagle Eye MovieHere is a fascinating yet predictable action film that I rather enjoyed. Two people are called up on their phones and “activated.” Jerry Shaw, played by Shia LaBeouf and Rachel Holloman, played by Michelle Monaghan. Neither know what is going on and through futile attempts to disobey the woman’s voice on the other end, they end up doing the bidding of their mysterious puppeteer. I honestly can’t say much more about the plot without ruining it. However, when you watch the film, be paying attention to everything. Small things that happen at the beginning are later explained but it all will make more sense when you know why everything is happening.

The acting was really good too. Shia LaBeouf impressed me. I guess there’s a first time for everything. This really is the first character that I’ve seen him play that I didn’t spend every second wanting to smack Shia. (more…)
