FIFA Soccer 2009

The FIFA football series is here once again with FIFA Soccer 2009, released just two weeks before it’s major competitor Pro Evolution Soccer 2009. Is this a cunning move by EA Sports? Or will FIFA ultimately fall victim to the astonishing gameplay of Pro Evolution once again? Only time will tell.
Facebreaker

The ever popular stream of EA Sports titles continues to bang out new titles, and Facebreaker could be considered a nice break from the stream of officially licensed titles based on the NHL, NFL, FIFA and so on.
Critical Hit - An American Carol
David Zucker returns (you know, the guy who did Airplane! & the The Naked Gun: Series) with a comedy about Michael Moore. Kevin P. Farley (Yeah, Chris Farley’s brother) plays
Michael Malone who is a documentary film maker who makes hate films about American (just like Michael Moore.) Some terrorists (Robert Davi, Geoffrey Arend & Serdar Kalsin) trick Malone into making a new recruitment film for the Taliban. Then they plot an attack at MSG on July 4th. Meanwhile, Malone is trying to abolish the 4th. Why? He’s a lost soul who needs his butt whopped (just like Moore). So, enter the spirits of America to teach him a lesson (Yeah, its based off of a Christmas Carol incase you haven’t caught that yet). The first is the ghost of Malone’s hero, John F. Kennedy played by Chriss Anglin. He tells him that he’ll be visited by three spirits and that he’s a douche. It’s very funny. The first spirit is General George S. Patton played by Kelsey Grammer (one of my favorite actors). Patton literally slaps Malone around and shows him how he’s hurting America all the while making fun of the actual insanity that goes on in our country today. (more…)
Mario Kart Wii

Mario Kart was one of the most popular games on the Super Nintendo console years ago. The follow up, Mario Kart 64 was a disappointment. Can Mario Kart Wii bring back some credibility to the series?
Lego Batman

The wonderful world of Lego is something everybody has grown up with, including you no matter how much you try to deny it. After taking on Indiana Jones, the little yellow Lego guys are now having a go at playing the role of the caped crusader in Lego Batman.
