Virtua Tennis 2009

With summer fast approching it’s almost time for the gaming world to go a little Tennis crazy, as it seems to at this time every single year – and competition amongst the different Tennis titles looks more intense than ever. Virtua Tennis 2009 promises to be up the with the very best of them.

Virtua Tennis 2009 is due for release on June 12th 2009 which is around two-weeks away, and it will be one of the first games on shelves to take advantage of the upcoming MotionPlus peripheral for the Nintendo Wii which ensures far more precise motion detection and sensitivity in the games that choose to make use of it – perfect for a Tennis title!

The Virtua Tennis series has established itself as the best, arguably, available and this version looks set to continue setting the standard for the genre – despite hotly anticipated competition from EA’s Grand Slam Tennis, which will also make use of MotionPlus on the Wii.

Virtua Tennis 2009 boasts a host of real professional tennis players for you to play as, and against too in various game modes. The series though is perhaps most loved for it’s gamplay, and the very fun, very addictive mini-games that appear during the training circuits and we are pleased to say these make yet another welcome return in Virtua Tennis 2009.

If you love Tennis, or if you simply love games that provide great fun and easy to master gameplay for gamers of all ages, Virtua Tennis 2009 will be a must buy for you – especially for the Wii gamers out there. Virtua Tennis 2009 will also appear on the Playstation 3, XBox 360 and PC.
