Guitar Hero 5

The follow up to Neversoft’s Guitar Hero World Tour, which quite literally rocked the gaming world, is almost upon us in the shape of Guitar Hero 5. Fans of the series may struggle to see what could possibly have been improved this time around, but you can rest assured the developers have given it a shot.
Guitar Hero 5 introduces a new game mode called Party Play which is arguably the best new feature that Guitar Hero 5 boasts. Party Play can essentially act as a jukebox feature which plays through a list of pre-set songs featured in the game in the background with absolutely no involvement from you at all. However what makes it great is the fact that you can decide to jump into the game and start playing at any moment at the click of a button!

Another new feature called RockFest allows you to and upto seven other players go head to head online in a variety of new rhythm challenges which have not been seen before in previous Guitar Hero titles. One part of this mode in particular, Momentum, will adjust your own personal game difficulty level depending on how well you have been playing so far forcing you to stay on the money or risk losing out.
Guitar Hero 5 promises to defy the odds and become even better than Guitar Hero World Tour, so start saving up guys, this is going to be huge! Guitar Hero 5 will be released in September 2009.
