Scribblenauts

Nintendo DS fans out there could be forgiven for taking one look at Scribblenauts and passing it off as ‘just another puzzle game’, but that is certainly not the case. Scribblenauts without doubt promises to be the most unique and creative puzzle game on the Nintendo DS to date.

In Scribblenauts it is your job to guide your character, a cute little kid named Maxwell, through the colourful but very puzzling world made up of more than 220 different puzzles – all of which are very different to one another, but all very addictive and absorbing.

Scribblenauts is set apart from other puzzle games on the Nintendo DS with the way you solve the puzzles. You will be presented with a problem to which you must think of a solution, draw an object which you believe would solve the problem, and if you get it right that object will appear right infront of you in the game for you to use! Scribblenauts boasts tens of thousands of possible objects to ensure you use your brain!

Scribblenauts is already selling well through pre-orders, so why not jump in and place yours today? It’s going to be big! Scribblenauts is released in September 2009.

The game description is slightly wrong. Whatever you write will appear, whether or not it is the “correct” solution or not.
In an interview with the developers, they said for example, you could write
“tidal wave”, in which a tidal wave would appear and wash you away. They didn’t know why you would want to do that, but you could.
