Wii Sports returns in the form of Wii Sports Resort with more than double the number of mini-games featured in the original and the hotly anticipated Wii MotionPlus peripheral bundled in for much increased movement sensitivity. But is it worth buying?
In short the answer is a resounding yes. Although at it’s most basic level Wii Sports Resort is just another mini-games compilation for the Nintendo Wii it is by far the best one to date thanks to the range of mini-games thrown in, the quality of them and the amount of fun that can be had with every single one, too.

WII SPORTS RESORT TRAILER |
The mini-games featured in Wii Sports Resort include table tennis, bowling, sword-play, cycling, rowing, wakeboarding, dog frisbee, basketball and more! Each game is enjoyable as a single player game for a while, but the fun factor really kicks in when you take it to multiplayer! For this you will need to purchase additional Wii MotionPlus peripherals as Wii Sports Resort only includes one – but it doesn’t take long at all to realise it’s a worthwhile purchase.
Wii MotionPlus attaches to your normal Wii Remote and dramatically increases the sensitivity of your movements instantly. Throwing a basketball for example sounds simple enough with the standard Wii Remote – raise your hands, flick them forward and the ball would be on it’s way – but with Wii MotionPlus things such as the speed of your throw, the precise direction and angle will also be taken into account and even any afterspin you may chose to put on the throw after the ball has left your hands.
Wii Sports Resort is out now! If you love these mini-game compilations you won’t find a better one than this! This is the must have party game of the year.
