For years the name of Tom Clancy has dominated the video game genre of realistic military first person shooters, but Richard Marcinko, a former US Navy Seal and best selling author is looking to change all that with some heavy input into the forthcoming title from Bethesda, Rogue Warrior.
You, playing the role of Marcinko himself, lead a team of four behind enemy lines on an intelligence gathering mission in a North Korean submarine base, however whilst you’re doing this the North Koreans launch a huge attack on South Korea and start a full-blown war.

ROGUE WARRIOR TRAILER |
With all allied-forces busy, you and your team must make your own way out of North Korea amongst the chaos. Rogue Warrior boasts an easy to master control system which is impressive when considering the enormous range of options available to you in terms of weaponry, tactical features and gameplay tweaks.
Rogue Warrior sets itself apart from similar titles when you look at the multiplayer options. Instead of playing the same maps over and over again, each map is instead split into three parts – and you are able to mix and match these giving you quite literally hundreds of map combinations to play through with other gamers from across the globe in all the standard gaming modes you would expect from a first person shooter.
Rogue Warrior hits the PC, Playstation 3 and XBox 360 on October 27th 2009 in the United States.
