Fall 2009 Games to Watch

The end of the year is rapidly approaching, and it’s at this time when the videogames industry is at it’s hottest with sales typically rising in the build-up to the festive period. We at Cheat Masters take a look at ten of the biggest games due to hit your local game store in the coming months.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 looks set to add further realism and tactical warfare to the highly established Call of Duty franchise, and will undoubtedly be a contender for game of the year. It is scheduled for release on November 10th 2009.
Borderlands is a new, highly stylised sci-fi shooter title with a very noticeable role playing twist thrown in from developers 2K Games. Multiplayer modes will play a big part in Borderlands longevity, too, certainly a game for online gamers to get hold of when it hits shelves on October 20th 2009.
Dragon Age: Origins challenges you to take the role of a Grey Warden on the side of the human race, leading humanities defence against a race known as the Blight. This role playing game will appeal to the most hardened role playing genre fans and is available from November 3rd 2009.
Forza Motorsport 3 is without doubt the most realistic racing simulator for the XBox 360, and gives the genre leading Gran Turismo, Project Gotham Racing and Need for Speed titles a serious run for their money with it’s furious pacey gameplay, impressive graphics and handling physics and limitless cars, tracks and customisation features. Forza 3 goes on sale from October 27th 2009.
Left 4 Dead 2, the best known zombie shoot-em-up title returns with a host of new survivor characters and five brand new campaign trails, each packed full of gruesome zombies for you to take out however you see fit. Left 4 Dead 2 is released November 17th 2009.
Smackdown VS Raw 2010 offers absolutely everything wrestling fans have come to expect from the Smackdown VS Raw titles and then some! All of your favourite superstars are there to battle in the major fight modes, all in glorious graphical detail closer to life than you’ve experienced in a wrestling title before. It hits stores on October 20th 2009.
Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time continues, and ends the storyline picked up in previous titles Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty. Much like those, A Crack In Time is packed full of frantic yet fun platformer action for all ages to enjoy from October 27th 2009 onwards.
New Super Mario Brothers for the Nintendo Wii brings the classic side-scrolling Mario titles to a whole new generation of gaming fanatics, and this time round multiplayer does not mean waiting your turn! From the outset you and upto three friends can play at the same time co-operatively, or as direct opponents in one of a choice of competitive game modes including coin battles. New Super Mario Brothers for the Wii is out on November 15th 2009.
Assassins Creed 2 takes you, Desmond, to the Holy Land and Jerusalem amongst other places - this time in the persona of Ezio Auditore da Firenze. As with the original this title will amaze you just as much with it’s graphics, sound and athmosphere as it will with it’s deep storyline, intense gameplay and moral backdrop. Pencil November 17th 2009 into your diaries for this one!
Tekken 6 boasts a massive 40 fighers for you to choose from, some of which you will recognise from previous Tekken games. The arena’s as you would expect are vast and dramatic, and there is a range of different fighting campaigns and modes for you to take part in! Tekken 6 is Tekken like you’ve never seen it before, get it from October 27th 2009.
