Tiberian Twilight

If there was ever a series just as famed for its’ cinematic scenes as the gameplay itself then Command and Conquer is surely it, and Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight promises to be an epic conclusion to the current series of the legendary strategy franchise.

Because of the immense following the Command and Conquer series has amassed over the years we’ll try not to spoil any of the discovery elements for you guys, but we can say Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight offers an ending that fans of the series will be highly satisfied with – or at least that’s the impression EA are giving out!

As usual you’re able to play through a campaign as Nod or GDI, who have apparantly called a truce for the sake of mankind, with the shared goal of containing the effects of Tiberian – the alien substance which has caused devestation to much of the human race, and which the “enemies” have been battling over for years now. Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight will also offer multiplayer modes as it has done in the past, including a new five-on-five mode!

One glaring absense from Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight is that of bases. Traditionally in Command and Conquer titles you build up your own base with each structure unlocking new units and other new structures in turn, and at the same time you could attempt to destroy your enemy structures – those days are apparantly gone which in our opinion is a crying shame.

For many this might not even feel like a Command and Conquer title, but for the action lovers within the games huge fanbase the shift of focus onto the hardcore battle element of the series can only be pleasing news.
