With most modern shooter titles you expect to hit locations which have recently been, or currently are real-life warzones such as Vietnam, Afrghanistan or Gaza, but the sequal to Army of Two: The 40th Day tears up the script and takes you instead to somewhere a little different – Shanghai.
The decision to base the events of Army of Two: The 40th Day in Shanghai looks set to be a good one, as it gives an instantly fresh feeling to a shooter title which may have otherwise felt repetitive and standard when compared to similar titles.

ARMY OF TWO: THE 40TH DAY TRAILER |
Army of Two: The 40th Day takes the modern day game expectancy of co-operative gameplay modes to a different level, with intense focus on the two main characters just like in the original title. If you are to progress through the streets and underworld of Shanghai without harm, you and your partner must forge a great understanding from the outset – good communication could possibly be the key to breaking this game.
In terms of visuals, Army of Two: The 40th Day could have been much better, but the graphical quality does an adequate job and it certainly doesn’t subtract anything from the overall game experience. The character and environment design, combined with a great plot, different location and a combination of great genres at various points of the game make Army of Two: The 40th Day the most anticipated title of January 2010 for all fans of action titles with only the possible exception of Bayonetta – no lean feat at all.
