Crackdown 2 is a sandbox game in every sense of the word. It promises us a truly open-world environment packed with possibilities and ultimately a game experience that no other gamer will replicate.

The original Crackdown title was released in 2007, and was considered a decent attempt at an sci-fi shooter based within what at the time was considered an open world environment. Things have moved on, and “open world” now means a much bigger game world than it did back then! Crackdown 2 gives you so much more gaming space than it’s predecessor.

Not only that, but Crackdown 2 improves on the original in every area as well as bring a lot of new stuff to the table too, without ever straying too far from the fun loving, destruction wreaking roots that made Crackdown so loveable in the first place despite it’s few flaws.

Without doubt the most exciting improvement with Crackdown 2 is the presence of co-operative play for upto four players, and online play for upto sixteen! Trashing the beautifully created citiscape with fifthteen other chaos-minded gamers sounds nothing short of thrilling!

Crackdown 2 will be released on July 6th 2010 for XBox 360 only!
