This time last year a brand new Mortal Kombat title was announced, and today we can finally see it taking shape – and we hope more will be revealed next week at E3, too!
From the very moment the game was announced, which is simply being called Mortal Kombat, both the games’ developers and publishers have been talking up the level of violence that it will bring to our fingertips. Easily antagonised parents hold your complaints – it is sure to be slapped with an M for Mature rating, so if your kids manage to get hold of it you only have yourselves to blame!
There is no confirmed release date as yet, but it’s expected to be during the early months of 2011 as details remain quite sketchy at this moment in time, but we hope to have quite a few things cleared up for us at the upcoming E3 event – fingers crossed!
It has been promised though that Mortal Kombat will feature tag-team fighting, and the all new ability to take your personal favourite pair of characters online to battle with other real gamers, or alternatively play nicely together through the all new (yes, more new stuff!) co-operative game modes that will be available.
This will be a huge success without any doubts, not least because we are told the fatalities will be more gruesome than ever before! We can’t wait, and you guys should be excited too. Mortal Kombat will be released for XBox 360 and Playstation 3.
