Yet another big crowd pleaser at the recent E3 event in Los Angeles was the latest outing for Ezio di Auditore, the famed hero from Assassins Creed II. This, the third in the series from Ubisoft, is called Assassins Creed: Brotherhood.
Assassins Creed has proved itself to be one of the most intriguing video game franchises we have seen for quite some time given the unique and in-depth story lines around which the in-game events are based. Assassins Creed: Brotherhood is no different from the previous two titles in that respect, as it’s plot is as engrossing as you could wish for.
| ASSASSINS CREED: BROTHERHOOD TRAILER |
Things are more heated than ever before between the templars and the assassins, and from the Assassins Creed: Brotherhood trailer shown at E3 we know Ezio has made an assassination attempt on Pope Alexander VI – as you’ve probably just seen for yourself in the above trailer. Whether or not he got his man or not we don’t know, we guess that part is upto you.
The Pope’s son Cesare Borgia leads an assualt on Ezio’s homestead of Monteriggioni, killing his uncle Mario in the process. Ezio then sets course towards Rome – the centre of the empire’s corruption – with the ultimate intention of revenge.
The producers have promised we will see more memorable moments in Assassins Creed: Brotherhood than in the previous games in the series. On top of that there are new moves to master, and new multiplayer modes to look forward too as well! Overall Assassins Creed: Brotherhood is shaping up to be a third truly memorable experience from the same series.
The game is being developed for Playstation 3, XBox 360, PC on November 16th 2010.
