In an announcement that will certainly move me into the “Buy” category for Nintendo 3DS, Hideo Kojima announced during the Konami show that Metal Gears Solid 3 Snake Eater is set for a 2011 release. As of now the game will keep its original name and not get any kind of update with 3D or something in the title. Kojima Productions promised us more details are coming but right now it appears this will be an exact port of the PS2 version and that is just fine with me.
