A recent trend in gaming that I will never understand is the exclusive DLC stuff. Why would these companies not want to make money off all the other players on the other consoles, are Microsoft and Sony really giving them that much money to miss out on the potential sales? Anyway, Bethesda has confirmed that the first batch of DLC for Fallout New Vegas will be available exclusively on the Xbox 360 and will be released this holiday. Now most likely the DLC will eventually make its way to PSN but no word on whether or not it will yet.
“We’re excited to continue the partnership between Bethesda and Microsoft, and build on the success of the game add-ons released for Fallout 3 on Xbox Live,” said Bethesda mouthpiece Pete Hines in an announcement. “Fans will once again be able to continue their experience in the Fallout universe with the add-on packs planned for after the launch of the game.”
Bethesda will reveal more details about New Vegas DLC in “the coming weeks.”
