GOLDEN SUN: Dark Dawn
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is creating quite the hype, I’m starting to get really impatient about it. I mean I want to play this freaking thing asap! Famitsu already qualified with 9/8/8/8, (Golden Sun 1 back in the day scored /9/8/9/8, so we’re looking forward a pretty awesome game). Getting to the point I found a new trailer that I want to share with you guys since it blew my mind.
Let’s talk about some of the mechanics featured in the video, First of all the elements, we knew it would be pretty mandatory, besides almost every single rpg out there has them. They were always an easy way to add the Rock Paper Scissor mechanic to any combat system. Here in dark sun it plays another role, it can help you outside battles, solving puzzles or creating new ways to access areas in the game.
Another thing we noticed in the video is the amount of touch pad interaction. I remember goofing around with the hand in the Gameboy Advance game, but apparently in this title the touch screen is completely relevant , allowing you to solve puzzles in new ways, and do things like spinning things, twisting, etc.
I already said it, this game looks freaking awesome, so all we have to do is wait and enjoy this great title!
THE SIMS 3
Mooooooving on, what about Sims? Since the DS launched back in 2006 I always wondered, how come there’s no Sims title for the DS? I mean it’s Sims Agents, Sims Knights, Sims whatever, but SIMS the original one, was nowhere to be found. Well apparently EA listened to me and finally decided to make it happen, so here’s the new trailer!
Well first of all, wow, it looks AWESOME, I’m absolutely amazed by the extension of the maps and the amount of detail. I mean, I would have settled with the Sims 1 for PC ported for the DS, but this?? Wow! The game features all the new mechanics that were introduced to the series in the other consoles/pc versions. And it’s making a double arrival to NDS and Wii, so if you either have the handheld or the motion precursor console, you’re in for a treat!
So, here you go, it was a slow week I’ll give you guys that, I know it believe me. But in the end some pretty cool things popped up. So basically guys, if you were looking for new games coming to the DS or the Wii, here you have some interesting options to keep you busy. Nintendo is making moves in the last part of the year, which titles will we be seeing in the holiday season?? You think they’re releasing all the big games too soon?? What do you think about Sony? There’s a comeback in store?? Let us know!!
‘Till next time
@Greenmousa, Out.
