Mar Sara Missions
Map Name:
Liberation Day

Achievement:
Raynor’s Back (Get 5 kills credited to Raynor on Normal difficulty)
Raynor needs to be in front as much as possible. here he can take more damage.

Down with Mengsk (Kill every enemy unit on Hard)
Mengsk holograms are out of your way so be on the look for them.

Map Name:
The Outlaws

Achievement:
Cash Reward (Collect all mineral and gas deposits on the map on Normal)
Be Quick or Be Dead (Win in 10 minutes on Hard)

Be Quick or Be Dead

To win in 10 minutes be sure to train up a ton of marines and medics as quick as you can. Rescue the rebels and then search the map for the minerals and gas.

Map Name:
Zero Hour
Achievement:
Hold the Line (Salvage nothing and let no buildings fall on Normal)
Build lots of marines and medics but be sure to have 3 full bunkers. Save at 5 minutes in case you don’t succeed.
Make the rescue when it’s called for and the achievements is yours.

The Best Defense (Kill 4 hatcheries on Hard)
Salvage the two outer bunkers and then get SCVs harvesting. Train lots of marines and medics. At the 10 minutes mark head up to the north-west corner of the map where a base with two hatcheries is located. Raze the base and return to your own base. At the 3 minute mark return to that same base and raze it again. Each time you take out the base will count for taking down 2 hatcheries.

Colony Missions
Map Name:
The Evacuation

Handled With Care (Let no trucks die on Normal)
Sacrifice Nothing (Let no buildings fall and don’t salvage any bunkers on
Hard)

Here you need to have enough units to defend the bunkers and enough with the truck to defend it.

There are three attack points for the Zerg along the road.
1: on the left, with a bunker.
2: on the right, no bunker.
3: on the left, with a bunker.
Bring an escort with the truck for the first run and protect the bunkers. Build more units after each escort as many Zerg will be attacking the truck. On the second escort your bunkers should be full. On your way back build another bunker at the first and third locations and fill them with marines, firebats and an scv to repair. After the fourth escort build a third bunker at the first and third attack locations and bring an extra scv to both locations for repairs.

Map Name:
Outbreak

28 Minutes Later (Win before the 5th night on Normal)
Build firebats, marines, and medics. Split them into two groups during the
day and send them in two different clusters to destroy as much as
possible. When night falls retreat to the bunker. In the morning go kill more. On the second night two infesters pop up on the minimap. Ignore them for now. On the third day continue to kill stuff but park some infantry where the infesters came up at night. On the third night kill both infesters for the bonus objectives.

Army of Darkness (Destroy 15 buildings during the Night on Hard)
Bring medics and firebats only during the day. Weaken the buildings until they have 20 health left and then keep a firebat close to the building but not close enough to attack it. When night falls issue all firebats to stop which will cause them to move close enough to the building to
attack it.

Haven’s Fall

Outpatient (Win with 3 settlements okay on Normal)
House Call (Win with 5 settlements okay on Hard)
Whenever one of the settlements is attacked just bring in
all your vikings and kill everything.

Safe Haven

You Shall Not Pass (Save 3 colonies on Normal)
My Precious (Save 2 colonies on Hard)
Build a reactor on your starport and more scvs. Get viking
production going as soon as you can and don’t stop. With the first nexus, bring in your starting 3 vikings after getting your economy started and attack a warp prism. This will bring in two phoenixes. Kill one and make sure to pull one away when it’s about to die. Then kill the other. Take down the other Warp Prism and then land on the north-west ledge and kill the
nexus. Second nexus, approach from the north-west. Down any air support but don’t land until you have killed the colossus. When both threats are
eliminated land on the ledge and down the nexus. Third nexus, there are a number of threats in this base. The cannons are easily taken out of the picture by shooting down the supporting warp prisms but you still have to watch out for two carriers, two archons, a sentry, and a high templar. Be careful with the high templar if you are on the ground. The archons you’ll need to lure them away from the base, land and kill it. For the Mothership you’ll need to attack it from behind. If you attack it from other angles your aerial units will start to space out and could put it in range of the mothership. It will two-shot your vikings

Covert Missions
Map Name:
The Devil’s Playground

Red Lobster (Kill the Brutalisk with Lava on Normal)
Take a group of Reapers north-east and grab the command center and more reapers. Head down to the Brutalisk and with 1:30 left shoot it and run, shoot it and run. Repeat until it gives up. At 18 seconds left, shoot it and drag it into the pit. Pull it as far north-east as you can before lava rises. Then kill your reapers and kill the brutalisk.

Reaper Man (Rescue all Reapers on Hard)
Some will be near the start and more near the command center. East of the brutalisk are more along with a base near the south-east corner of the map. Inside this base are more so bring an army.

The Scenic Route (Destroy all Zerg structures on Normal)
Lots of Marines and Vikings should do it.

Map Name:
Welcome to the Jungle

Appetite for Destruction (No SCVs die on Normal)
Let no SCVs die.

It’s So Easy(No probe can cap any gas on Hard)
Do not let any probes harvest any gas

You’ze So Crazy! (Destroy all Protoss structures on Normal)
Build goliaths and lots of infantry. Vikings are helpful for anti air,
especially in the Protoss main base. Take a vast army with you to the main Protoss base or you’ll regret it. They can replace their losses. Once the Protoss are gone the mission ends. On Hard, the best strategy is to clear out all the standing defenses. You can kill the middle base without too much hassle if you want but various pylon and cannon emplacements scattered around the ruins will slow you down. Do one site at a time or the Protoss reaction gets excessive.

Breakout (choosing Tosh or Nova will get this in mission archives)

Cool Hand Tosh (Don’t let Tosh hit 100 HP on Normal)
Go slow and over-use Shield.

Jailhouse Rock(Beat the mission in 25 minutes or less on Hard)
An overlook will be on your left. On the diagonal south-and-west path before you get to the bunker a path to the siege tanks is there. Rescue the prisoners after you break that road block and then an overlook will be on your right. Kill the siege tank when the Raven patrols away and kill the raven. Kill the Tower from the overlook and then help push through. Next rescue the prisoners on the west. Shield and help them destroy after the rescue. Next, nuke the Thors. Then nuke the top of the ramp. Nuke both
production centers and destroy buildings while your allies arrive.

Map Name:
Ghost of a Chance (choosing Nova, or Tosh and get this in mission archives)

Dominate Tricks (Kill 15 units with dominated units on Normal)
Total Protonic Reversal (Kill everything on Hard)
When a mission objective is destroy then everything near it must be dead before you finish it off. Use the raven to reveal the entire map. A missile turret on the far right of the middle of the map is hard to catch. Take a siege Tank as close as you can get to it.

Covert Mastery
Get all the Covert Mission achievements.

Rebellion Missions
Map Name:
The Great Train Robbery

Bully the Bullies (Defeat the Marauder bunch in Normal)
Silver Streak (Let no trains get by on Hard)
Make lots of infantry with no firebats. Let the Diamondbacks pick off the Marauders from behind. The Zerg bones are south-east of your base. Another
is so close to the diamondbacks. Another is near the southern tracks. Another is on the same ledge the north-west expansion is on and another is on the ledge the southern tracks passes.

Map Name:
Cutthroat

Minesweeper (kill 25 units with mines on Normal)
Build an army of mercs and lots of vultures. Place them throughout the
path from your base to the merc base and then add mines.

Solitaire (Buy out the mercenaries without building an scv on Hard)
Goliaths and science vessels are needed here. An infantry army can work but you have to leave a great defense. Your base will be attacked from all directions.

Map Name:
Engine of Destruction

Kicking Asgard (Destroy Loki in Normal)
Ragnarok & Roll (Don’t let Odin hit 30% of HP on Hard)
Best to do them both at once and on hard.
Hold Wraths back until the second northern area where two deployed tanks that you’ll want to destroy before they inflict
massive damage on Odin. Always have some SCVs ordered to “move” to him (so
they will follow and repair him.) If they get destroyed replace them quickly.
Bunkers to the right of your main base for protection. Expand to the northern
base when you can, protect it with turrets and bunkers or Perdition turrets.
Build Vikings if you have them and set them to follow Odin; if not build
wraiths and manually control them. Loki is a powerful battlecruiser on the
east side of the map. Bring an air unit close to him to activate him; he
cannot be kited close enough for Odin to engage him.

Map Name:
Media Blitz

Seek and Destroy (Destroy a Barracks, a Factory, and a Starport with Odin
during the confusion on Normal)
At some point in the mission if you go to the south-east and you will see a science
facility, destroy it and get them. You have now unlocked the secret stage.
Destroy as much of the Eastern base as you can. Move on to the north-east base if you can. Goliaths are recommended but Thors work too for the anti-air. Remember to keep Goliaths out of ground combat.

Blitzkrieg (Win in 20 minutes on Hard)

Map Name:
Piercing the Veil

Not So Brutalisk (Kill the Brutalisk without it killing any of your people on
Normal)
Lock and Load (Find all 13 weapons on Hard)
Monster Mash (Use A.R.E.S. robot to kill the Brutalisk)
Do all of these at once through two runs. First, pick up two Protoss relics before you destroy the fusion core. One from inside the pen where the Zerglings were and the other from the Brutalisk room. Don’t use the ARES robot here. Clear the bay with your troops using grenades and plasma guns while facing them. Pick some marines and medics to clear the Brutalisk room. Save here. Activate ARES with anti-armor missiles and bring it to the Brutalisk room. Unleash hell. Have your troops stand back and nail the Brutalisk with some plasma but let the ARES finish it off.

Rebellion Mastery (Complete all the Rebellion achievements)

Artifact Missions
Map Name:
Smash and Grab

Rock Solid (Don’t lose any units to Stone Guardians in Normal)
Bring Marauders and plenty of Medics. Don’t use Marines unless playing on Brutal.
Hit and Run (Win in 15 minutes on Hard)
Do both at once by starting with an infantry army. Send your troops west and then south to find an artifact. Then take it east but keep the troops brewing. Once the base is leveled you will see another artifact near the west past some pylons.

Map Name:
The Dig

Drill Hard (Have the laser kill 20 units on Normal)
Use the laser to take out everything. Its super easy.
Yippee-Ki-Yay… (Destroy 50 Protoss structures on Hard)
Use air to reveal the Protoss and have the laser destroy them.

Map Name:
Supernova

Cool Running (Lose nothing to the fire wall on Normal)
Destroy all your refineries and building attachments at each base

Shock and Awe (Kill 75 units and structures with cloaked banshees on Hard)
The artifacts are located right outside your base, north by north-east of your base, south of the first recommended expansion where the land route comes in fromthe west, south-east area of the map

Map Name:
The Mobius Factor

Alive Inside (Rescue everyone on Normal)
Kill the Brutalisk and follow Kerrigan’s path to find everyone eventually.
Hard Core (Destroy all three data cores before Kerry and destroys 8 buildings on
Hard)
Bring the War Pigs down to the first core and drop them off. Bring in everything. Build 4
Medics and Medivac them and the units attacking the core to the ground when it
is destroyed. Have them and a Medivac walk north-west until you see Goliath
and Marines on top of room. Medivac them to the ground. Walk up to second core destroying only what is attacking you. Rescue Marauders and destroy second data core. Be alert for a Nydus when it pops up. South-west Kerrigan’s path goes north-west but keep going south-west. Stay near the water and attack the third data core without pulling
the brood lord.

Map Name:
Maw of the Void

I Have the Power (Kill all the generators on Normal)
Master of the Universe (Don’t let any of your units die inside a field on
Hard)
For both take in Battlecruisers and attack the generators. Upgrade these bad boys and kill everything.

Artifact Mastery (Complete all the Artifact achievements)
Reward: Tychus portrait.

Map Name:
Prophesy Missions

Whispers of Doom
Stalker Delight (Finish with 3 or more stalkers alive on Normal)
Merely a Flesh (Don’t let Zeratul take life damage on Hard)
Save a lot for both and just be careful. Watch the Nydus

Map Name:
A Sinister Turn

Out for Justice (Kill all enemy Protoss on Normal)
Maar-ked for Death (Win in 25 minutes on Hard)
Build two units and go to the east and kill the zealot and build a pylon near the dark temple. Build a few cannons and start massing dark templars. Once you have 8 or 9 then wait for
the hybrid to spawn, dodge him, and send 10 dark temple’s straight at the prisoners. Kill the north-west one last.

Map Name:
Echoes of the Future

Army of One (Kill 50 units with Zeratul on Normal)
Don’t let Zeratul die. The two relics you need to build a pylon are in the expansion to the east by north-west. Travel along the path to the north of your base to the rest of the
overmind at the top of the first ramp. Use Stalkers and Immortals to take down the Nydus.
Overmind Dead Body (Win in 20 minutes on Hard)
Be careful and go slow.

Map Name:
In Utter Darkness
Semi-Glorious (Kill 250 more units than necessary on Normal)
Blaze of Glory (Kill 750 more units than necessary on Normal)
Build dark templars on each of the bridges so that nothing can get
by. Line the lofts with cannons and ignore the gold. Use Zeratul to void
bubble overseers when they come in and phoenix’s to kill the overseers. Upgrade a lot and use cannons after your population limit is reached.

Prophecy Mastery (Get all the prophesy achievements)
Reward: Zeratul portrait.

Final Missions
Map Name:
Gates of Hell

The Big Bang Cannon (Destroy all the Spore Cannons on Normal)
Dominion Roundup (Save all the Dominion drop-pods on Hard)
Send your group north and one Viking south to pick them up. They’ll still die, but you’ll get
credit.

Map Name:
Shatter the Sky
Demolition Man (Don’t lose any units to a platform blowing up on Normal)
Speed Too! (Win in 25 minutes on Hard)
North-east is a mix of anti-air and anti-ground. North-west is anti-ground and south-east is anti-air. Bring Battlecruisers and Vikings.

Map Name:
Belly of the Beast
Unbreakable (Don’t let anyone get incapacitated on Normal)
At the second and third fault lines be sure to watch out. The second has lot of units and the third be sure to use your activated abilities on the queenas often as possible.
One Shot Fifty Kills! (Kill 50 units with one penetrator round on Hard)

Map Name:
All In
Turn and Burn (Get the artifact 150 kills on Normal)
Nova on every wave or save and intentionally let your base get overrun. Then Nova when the crystal is at low health.
Aces High (Use the artifact only once on Hard)
Build a siege tank army. Place them around your bunker. Build a science vessel or two
and put them over each group of siege tanks. Eight Banshees are gonna be needed for the whole time. Send them to close nydus worms and to fight Kerrigan. Every 5% be sure to save. When Kerrigan show make sure all nydus worms on her side are closed. When the Zerg spew forth you’ll be screwed so get rid of them. Let her hit the tanks and then send in your banshees for the kill. There are swarms at 50% and 90% but with the siege tanks negate any issues. Upgrade everything!

Final Mastery (Get all the Final achievements)
