There is a lot to do in LEGO Harry Potter so much that I’ll break the guide down to Interiors and Exteriors where the Gold Bricks, Red Bricks and students in peril are.

Main Hall/Dormitory Nexus

Student in Peril: Shoot the bookshelf on the left, then levitate them to create platforms up to the student.

Gold Brick: Shoot the six floating candles to make the brick appear.

Great Hall Entrance

Student in Peril: Shoot the banner in the top left part of the room to free the student.

Gold Brick: Shoot the four banners around the room to unlock the Gold Brick.

Great Hall

Student in Peril: Look for the student trapped in the cobweb in the upper lefthand corner. Shoot the cobweb to free him.

Red Brick: There is a pile of brick on the back of the left table. Shoot them to turn them into a turkey. It will eventually break and become a red brick.

Gold Brick: Shoot the six green cups scattered around the room. There are five on the student tables and one on the faculty table. When you’ve hit them all, the Gold Brick will appear above you. Hit the plates at the end of the three tables to create platforms to reach it.

Charms Classroom/ Left

Student in Peril: There is a student in the corridor just to the left of the classroom. Bring the apple down with Wingardium Leviosa to rescue them.

Head into the underground area by using Reducto on the lock on the lefthand side of the class. Look for the student stuck in the cobweb to the right of the dragon — Requires Reducto

Red Brick: Head into the underground area by using Reducto on the lock on the lefthand side of the class. Use Crucio on the Dark Globe to the far right — Requires Reducto, Dark Wizard

Gold Brick: Head into the underground area by using Reducto on the lock on the lefthand side of the class. After fixing the dragon, leap on it to exit the room and unlock the brick.

Charm Classroom/ Right

Student in Peril: Have Griphook open the vault to access the underground area. Head right and you’ll see the student trapped in some Devil’s Snare — Requires Griphook

Red Brick: Have Griphook open the vault to access the underground area. Go into the second room and use Parseltongue on the snake in the wall, then Crucio the Dark Globe that appears — Requires Griphook, Parseltongue, Dark Wizard

Gold Brick: Have Griphook open the vault to access the underground area. Go to the second room and use Lumos on the vines to release the Gold Brick — Requires Griphook

Defense Against the Dark Arts Office

Student in Peril: Have Griphook open the vault to access the underground area. Head right and you’ll see the student trapped in some Devil’s Snare — Requires Griphook

Red Brick: Use Crucio on the Dark Globe in the back — Requires Dark Wizard

Gold Brick: Use Reducto on the seven silver items scattered about the room — Requires Reducto

Gear Room

Student in Peril: Trapped in the spiderweb near the beginning

Red Brick: Regenerate Hearts) Destroy the five Boggarts scattered around the room. You will see the first at the beginning of the area. The second is next to the Student in Peril, while the third is on the right. The fourth is being held by a pixie, so use a stunning spell. Pull the chain on the far left to bring down the final chest

Pendulum Room

Gold Brick: Go right from the Quirrel token and use a stunning spell on the pixies to knock down the pillars they are holding up. A statue will fall through the ceiling and release the brick.

Potions Classroom

Red Brick: Score x10 After accessing the building blocks in the side area, build them up to the right to obtain the Red Brick.

Gold Brick: You need three green keys for the gate in the side area. The first can be obtained via the Hufflepuff painting; the second by levitating the left-hand gargoyle statue and opening the vault in the snake statue, and the third by having a book character use the bookcase. Use the aging potion in the previous room, then return and jump up to the ledge, cross the age line and claim your prize.

Transfiguration Classroom

Gold Brick: Use Transfiguration to defeat the dummies that attack in the side area (accessed with Reducto). You will need to turn them into three different types of animals (denoted by check marks on the board nearby.

Classroom Nexus/ Exterior Corridor

Gold Brick: Uses the pieces near the Defense Against the Dark Arts area to create a giant “H.” Use Reducto on the silver part to create a tube and send in an Animagus/Crookshanks/Scabbers — Requires Reducto

Bathroom Hallway

Student in Peril: Look for the two large green stalls on the right in the Boys Bathrooms (access with Reducto). Open the left one to find the student.

Red Brick: Move the two shower heads in the middle to the shower pipes in the Boys Bathroom (Requires Reducto). Shoot all four shower handles to reveal the brick.

Gold Brick: Use Reducto to access the path along the top, then drag out the piece inside the glass maze. Shoot it and will become a snail that will lead you to the Gold Brick — Requires Reducto

Library

Student in Peril: Put on earplugs at the Wardrobe on the left-hand balcony, then pot the Mandrake on the right-hand side

Red Brick: Go to the back of the Restricted Section and you’ll see the Red Brick on the shelf. Levitate the books and put them near like-colored books to make it fall down.

Gold Brick: Look for three brown wizards hats. Shoot them all to get the Gold Brick.
