Arguably the goriest video game in existence, Splatterhouse follows in its predecessor’s footsteps, offering a hack and slash game for the new generation of consoles. But, once in a while, you reminisce about ‘back in the day’ and get that craving to play the games you enjoyed as a child. If you picked up the recent incarnation of Splatterhouse, then there’s a fair chance that you’re a fan of the earlier series of games. So what if you get that craving to play the originals? Well don’t worry, as you can unlock the entire original series by playing your copy of Splatterhouse!

And as long as you enjoy the game and plan on completing it, then it’s very easy to achieve. To unlock the first Splatterhouse game, simply complete phases 1-2. To unlock Splatterhouse 2, complete phases 3-4. And, finally, to unlock Splatterhouse 3, complete phases 5-8. The best bit is that you can do this on any difficulty to unlock the games.
