This guide will walk you through the Goldeneye 007 Outpost Mission. Let’s get started!

As the level begins in the blizzard-laden snowy nightmare that is Severnaya, take out the sporadically-placed guards until you reach the marker that culminates in you being knocked unconscious…by a falling helicopter!

Once you gain consciousness, sneak up on the three prone guards and put them to sleep before you wipe out the other guards under, or around, the bridge. Go left once you go beyond the bridge to pick up a sniper rifle that will come in handy soon and also open the first of the supply crates. Go up the hill and shoot any guards that may become visible. Drop down from the remains of the bridge and eliminate the five guards in the area (one above, four on the ground). Another supply crate is next to the overturned truck, so make sure to open it.

Continue up the hill and take out those that are in your way. Once you are given the new objective that alerts you to avoid the crossfire, keep on the move and follow the marker. Take out those that are in your way and continue moving until you reach the checkpoint and complete the objective, ‘avoid the crossfire’.

Go into the fiery wasteland and make your way through the large wooden-structured building. Continue on until you reach the concrete building, shooting anyone that is in your path. Beyond the stairs on the ground floor is another supply crate to open. Follow the marker until you reach destroyed jet where you will find the black (or red) box to complete the objective, ‘find the black box’.

This area is open and there are plenty of guards wondering about, so make sure you stick to cover and patiently navigate around and take out those in your way. The 4th supply crate is in a one-tiered building that is to the right of the jet were you discovered the black box, so make sure you open that. Follow the marker until you reach the ventilation shaft.

After exiting the shaft, take out the 3-strong group of guards. Get your sniper ready for the next area, as you’ll have to pick off two snipers. They will be using a laser pointer, so they shouldn’t be too hard to spot. Take out the remaining four guards in the room and move away from the doors to your left. Once a flash grenade has been thrown, take out the two guards that appear. Continue to follow the marker to get out of the building and complete the ‘navigate the tunnel’ objective.

Five snipers are in the next area. Swap your sniper for the silenced one against the railing and pick off the snipers one by one. Spotting the prone targets shouldn’t be too hard. Once all are eliminated, head right and over the railing to the find the 5th, and final, supply crate to complete the objective, ‘find the supply crates’.

Go to your left in the open area towards the helicopter so you can pick off the guards with your sniper at an angle. Then it’s just a case of running to the marker to complete the objective, ‘enter the bunker’ and to complete the mission.
