This guide will walk you through the Goldeneye 007 Archive Mission. Let’s get started!

At the start of the mission, take out the two guards. Up the stairs, a locked door will block your way. Simply go through the side and enter one of the rooms and jump through the window. Another group of guards are here, so be careful as they are heavily armed. Take care of them and proceed to the stairs.

In the next room, there will be two ventilation shafts and you can enter either. There will be a radio in the middle of the room where you exit, make your way towards it and use your phone to interact with it to complete the objective, ‘recover the interrogation footage’.

Press the red button to open previously locked door. While walking along this hallway, pay close attention to the room on your right. There will be some guards trying to kill you, deal with them. At the end will be another closed door, this time there will be no red switch. Shoot the barrels of explosives behind the bars to clear it, remember to stay back a couple of steps. Enter the room and take the first flight of stairs you see.

A group of armed guards will once again engage you even before you get to the top. Take care of them. At the top of the stairs will be another room leading to another big group of guards. Make sure to clear the room before proceeding, as the next room has an even bigger group of guards waiting for you to enter. The room is a two-storey one, so watch out above. Look for cover to stay safe, do not engage them head on. After clearing the room, you will notice a few servers scattered in the area, wich you have to destroy. There is another small room with a gray door on one side of this area, with more servers. Destroy them all to complete the objective, ‘destroy the servers’.

Take the stairs and find a gated window. Beside it will be a room with a huge bookcase. There will be another grate covered ventilation shaft behind it. There will be a laptop in the middle of the next room, use your phone to interact with it in order to hack its database. Go back through the vent you came from.

Back to the hallway with the gated window and take the nearest flight of stairs there. After the call, follow the markers and you will arrive at a checkpoint. Right after that, another group of heavily armed men will start engaging you. Be smart and look for cover and start taking them down. After clearing the room, access the computer in the corner and take a photograph of the image that comes up. Take the next flight of stairs in the center of the room.

There will be a bridge blocked by several guards. As usual, take them out and proceed. Keep following the marker up until you find a device on a wall at a dead end. Bring out your phone and interact with it. The door in front of you will open.

Another two storey room filled with a dozen armed guards will greet you. There is a lack of cover in this room so make the most out of it when you can. Get to the bottom level. The elevator will be blocked by another squad of heavily armed guards ready to engage you in a lengthy shootout. Take them out like always. Grenades are a problem and once you see one coming your way, run to the next cover. Take them all out and proceed as planned.

After leaving the elevator, another room of hostiles will greet you. Follow the marker, all the while shooting down everyone that tries to stop you. Be wary of the guards shooting at you from above, as they can deal a lot of damage. There’s an office on the left side of the room to enter. Make your way to the end of the room until you see a computer with a blue screen. Go on it and take a photo of the image that pops up. This will complete the objective, ‘gather Russian intelligence for MI6’.

There’s a switch in the middle of the room. Press it and get ready for another shoot out. While waiting for the tank, try hiding behind the computers or the blue screen at the end of the room. The end of the room should be the best spot to camp, as you can easily see the other end of the room from there, making it easier to pick off the guards.
Once the tank arrives fully, run to it to complete the objective, ‘escape the military archives and pursue Ourumov’, and the mission!
