This guide will walk you through the Bulletstorm ‘Just Like the Old Days’ mission. Let’s get started!

With Ishi now alive and kicking, make your way out of the wreck to find Trishka. Then fire at the glowing gas tanks to clear a path. There will be a slope with a few hostiles along the way, kick the gas can towards them for an easy clear.

Move along and across the makeshift bridge to reach a dirt path. You will come across a glowing pod from the Ulysses (a Dropkit) at the top of the hill. Use your leash on it in order to upload your Skillshot database. The Skillshot database will be later use to purchase new weapons, armor, ammo and other upgrades.

Once you exit the database a couple of attackers will be charging your way. Take them all out and proceed to the gate. Another handful of hostiles will be on the other side, take them all out as well. Log back into the Dropkit in order to make a few more adjustments then head through the lowered gate and proceed down the hill. Take out all hostiles that are blocking your path. Another neat trick to do in this area is to use the leash and hurl the attackers into the cacti to the left for a bonus kill.

You will come across the refinery now. Once you reach it, use the red cans to your advantage by hurling them or shooting at them to blow up anything near them. Take out the hostile on the platform by shooting the red cans beside him. There will also be a few cans by the hanging platform, shoot those as well to deal some major damage. At the right side of the area there will be another Dropkit near a rock. Use your leash to access it again. Head through the main opening into the refinery and shoot the red cans hanging above the hostiles blocking your way for an easy kill.

After clearing the area, take a quick right and run up the first flight of stairs you see. Shoot the gas cans and continue across the catwalk, all the while being mindful of your surroundings. When prompted, follow the directions and hold LT to map the complex. Now, head down the stairs and kill the hostiles along the way. Kick the gate and press the action button to pull up the lever and lower the lift.
