Senlin Beach

This level starts with an on-rails aspect. You know the standard operating procedure just be sure to make good use of the ammo and keep hitting both types of ammo. Kill all that move.

Salach District

After the cut-scene, proceed up the stairs. Break down the walls like Chris Jerhico and then eliminate the Helghast turret operator. Take control of the turret and concentrate your fire on the Helghast approaching from your left. Once they’ve been eliminated, proceed down the hallway, and up the stairs to the next zone.

As you continue down the hallway you’ll encounter a couple of sniper positions. Quickly eliminate these, pick up one of their rifles, and then turn your attention to snipers who have taken up position in the building across from you. Pinpoint their location by tracing back to where the red laser sight is coming from. Just be careful because if you can see them, they can see you. Make sure you’re the first person to fire. Depending on your difficulty level the time between when the red laser sees you and hits you varies, so to be safe be quick.

One the snipers have been eliminated, run over to the abandoned building, and climb the ladder up to the next section. After the cut-scene is complete you’ll be focused on the building across from you. You need to eliminate the snipers from the surrounding buildings while the ISA on the ground eliminate the ground troops. Just like in the previous section, be on the lookout for the red laser cutting through the sky and trace it back to the sniper.

You will have to move around on the rooftop to get a better vantage point when you are tasked with eliminating the snipers who pop up in the other surrounding buildings. Just use a combination of following the laser sight and when Rico calls out their locations. If you need to replenish your ammo, use the ammo crate located in the far side-corner of your current location. After the Arc APCs are destroyed a short cut-scene will play.

Ground Zero

After the cut-scene you and Rico will be in control of a mech. Directly in front of you will be a couple of ISA infantry and a tank moving on up the road and it’s up to you to provide covering fire. Concentrate your first batch of fire on the Helghast on the ledge to the right of the road and then sprint towards the end of the freeway to spot a couple of Arc APCs. Quickly destroy them and regroup with the ISA squad.

As you move through the next area, shoot the troops on the bridge above and continue forward towards the crumbling building in the distance. Sidestep any rockets that are heading towards you and continue to pick off the enemy troops stationed within the building before pressing forward along the left side of this crumbling structure. Be wary of Helghast rocket troopers who are hiding in cover.

Eliminate the troops on the bridge who are either firing rockets or manning a turret. You will also need to concentrate some fire on the tanks in the area (it’s best you create some distance between you and the tanks because you can’t take much damage). If it starts to get too hairy, back away, and find some cover. Your health will regenerate and your vehicle’s armor will start to heal. Once you eliminate the final tank a short cut-scene will play.

After the cut-scene you’ll find yourself in a trench with some ISA troops. Above you a Helghast soldier with a flame thrower will start to torch your fellow soldiers, so concentrate your first on him before you proceed further through the trench. Use what cover is available to eliminate the Helghast as you press forward. Once the APC arrives, concentrate all your fire on the Helghast exiting the vehicle. Once they’re eliminated, proceed forward (don’t worry, the APC won’t fire on you) and exit the trench to end this level.
