This guide will walk you through the ‘Turning Point’ mission in SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs. Let’s get started!
For this mission, the starting point is the area where the last mission ended. Proceed to the beach on your way to the base. You will see an enemy walking down the hall. Take her down and move on. At the next corner, there is a sentry turret that will fire at you when it spots you. The instance it starts firing at you, other enemies will took notice and will open fire. Disable it by throwing a grenade, pop a smoke, or totally destroy it. You can then find an intel datapad by walking at the other side of the base.
Proceed to the next area by clearing your way through it and following the way points. Upon reaching the next enemy base, you will see that there are enemies all over the area. Take cover and take down all the enemies. Be sure to clear the area so that you can enter the base. Once you’re on its ground floor, you can find an intel datapad in a room to the left. Proceed to the rooftop where Chung will start to reprogram the missiles. Enemies will follow you to the area and will open fire at you and your team. Defend Chung and eliminate the attacking enemies. You can take cover at the small room on the East side of the rooftop. Once Chung is done, destroy the ship at a distance.
Immediately get down from the rooftop and follow the way points. Wells will then ask you which way to go. Choose right going to the COMMs Center. Inside it, you will be glad to find a tarocco and the third intel datapad. Stay alert for enemies who will follow you in the area. After completing you task at the COMMs center, you need to aim for the next bunker and reprogram the next batch of missiles. Take the left side to slip through the base. You will find the stairs to the roof at the first room. Beware of the ship that is capable of firing rockets at you. There are also plenty of enemies at the rooftop that you have to take out. Try as much as you can to cover from the enemies and rockets as well.
While Chung is reprogramming the missiles, you have to defend him again. At this point, enemies will keep on coming to assault you so when the missiles are ready, you have to laze the ship. After each missile strike, Chung will have to reprogram the missiles. The ship can be destroyed by about 3 missile strikes. After destroying it, eliminate any stragglers and proceed to the extraction point to complete the mission.
