This is actually a pretty easy short quest in Dungeon Siege 3 but in the interest of completion we are gonna cover them all, it is my job anyway.

You will wanna begin by speaking with the villager in Raven’s Rill and ask about Lazar. If you came across the statue in the “A Prized Possession” Side Quest give it to him and he will divulge some information. Don’t ask for a reward and he will instruct you to talk to Grigori, luckily he is standing nearby. Next conspire with Grigori to rescue Lazar and ask him to send a message to Odo. When you’re done talking with Grigori, depart town down the Pilgrim’s Road.

Next backtrack to the Chapterhouse and have a talk with Odo. He will tell you that to launch the surprise attack to free Lazar you will need to recover a component that is necessary to the rebuild the causeway.

And that is it for this quest I told you it was a simple one but we are just getting started, they will pick up.
