Welcome to F.E.A.R. 3, which is the direct sequel to F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. This walkthrough was written to guide those who have gotten themselves stuck. While you may play the game by going with this walkthrough from start to finish, it is still best to play it by yourself without assistance. Nonetheless, this walkthrough was designed to show the best way to beat this game.

After a lengthy intro, the game starts in a fairly gruesome way. You are the Point Man, and you were in a cell, being interrogated by a couple of guards on someone’s location. Your brother Fettel invites himself in and helps you escape their clutches. Once you’re able to move about after picking up the earpiece from one of the guards, open the cell door and go right towards the end of the hallway. Open the door ahead and go through the left until you find a guard at a gate with his back turned towards you. You can use your knife to kill him and take his gun.

Once you have armed yourself, shoot the lock of the door to your left and take cover behind the ammo crates. A guard will be up ahead, so kill him and get his gun. There should be a red light on at the right side of the panel, so pull the lever in front of you. As you proceed to the next area, take cover and take care of the two guards up ahead. Go up the steps and get some ammo in the supply crate before proceeding.

There will be doors on top of the stairs with guards on the other side. Prepare yourself and throw grenades at them as you open the doors in order to take them out with one blast. They’ll drop automatic weapons that will make the firefights up ahead much easier. You may then go inside the open cell on the left, then walk straight and crawl through the hole in the wall. Jump over the mattresses to the right and open the cell door, wherein you’ll hear some guards bickering while playing poker. Kick open the wooden door and charge in with guns blazing while in slow-mo. You should take them out pretty easily with headshots.

There will be more guards in the room, so you can take a safe approach or breach in for a tactical assault. Once you’ve fought through the room, take the exit with the green light on the far right. Turn right and go through the cell door, then run through the corridor and through the cell door at the end. You’ll come across what seems to be a glowing corpse, with which you can perform a psychic link. Once you’ve done that, exit through the cell door.

Turn your flashlight off as you proceed through the door to your left in order to avoid detection. Using the element of surprise, kill all the guards on this floor, then run along the stairs to the left and kill all enemies on the second floor. At the third floor, you’ll find two lockers with weapons and a body for psychic link. Back at the second floor, go through the open cell door across the fire extinguisher. There will be a guard up ahead, so stay sharp.

As you go downstairs and get to the weapon locker, use the level on the panel to open the door. Neutralize all opposition in the next area and get ammo on the second and third floors if you wish. You may then take the exit at the first floor right by the flashing red lights. You will find a door at the end of the hall. Before you go through there, turn right and go into an open control room with an ammo locker and another smoking body. Once you’re done with the psychic link, go back to the door from earlier.

Prepare yourself before opening that door as there will be a gunfight. Once you’ve taken them all out, proceed to the double doors of the Mess Hall and kill more soldiers. Perform a psychic link with the body near the weapon locker and fight your way into the kitchen. There’s another smoking body for psychic link there and a flight of stairs with more enemies at the top. Kill them all and proceed to the control room, where there’s a doorway with red lights and another doorway to the right. Bust the second door open and psychic link with the body. There’s also an ammo crate there, but guards will see you there through the cell door on the left.

Once you’ve killed them, bust your way open and go through the path and out the open door with red lights. Go downstairs and enter the cell on the left to get a psychic link. There is ammo downstairs if you need to stock up. Once you’re done, open the doors and proceed towards the door by the dead guard. There should be another smoking corpse for psychic link after you turn left. Take the right path and go through the next two doors. As you go up the stairs, you’ll get to see a guard turn into barbecue.

There should be a smoking corpse to the left that you can use for psychic link before you head through the doors. Up ahead are more enemies, so waste them. There are stairs going down on the far left, so proceed there as you keep fighting guards. There should be an explosion up ahead, so get back to the crates and open the cell door there to psychic link with yet another smoking corpse, and then there’s another one a couple of doors away.

Take the door to the left and crawl through the hole in the wall, then do a psychic link with the corpse there. Go to the left and traverse the pipes until you get to another hole in the wall. As you go through and open the door, go up the stairs on the right and find another smoking corpse there for a psychic link. You’ll then go downstairs to the lowest floor and slay more enemies. As you fight through their ranks, you’ll hear some growls that takes you to a cutscene that signifies the end of this level.
