The objective is to simply defeat fifty enemies in powered down areas while no missions are active. If you think fifty enemies is not that hard, well be extra cautious because this isn’t one of those easy missions for those enemies in blacked out areas are heavily armed. Another thing which makes it more difficult is that you have no easy way to recharge yourself if you take damage or use anything other than your standard bolts.

Here are some tips in order for you to conquer this mission:

1. Blacked out areas are clearly marked on your map, and you’ll get a warning message on the bottom of the screen any time you go into one.

Hint: You must be free roaming for any kills to count towards this trophy. There are certain missions you have to enter the blackout zone but those kills won’t count towards this trophy at all.

2. What’s best to do is to head into one of these areas on the rooftops, and take out the enemies guarding the streets down below. You’ll need to sneak around them to hit the guys behind the large guns from the side or behind – taking them head on is a suicide mission. Take out as many as you can before you start getting hit, and then head back to the powered area to juice yourself up before heading in for more.

3. If you get far enough away from a spot where enemies are patrolling, come back a little later you will notice that enemies respawn. Take advantage of this situation to stay close to a powered area.

4. If you encounter a helicopter, be sure to lure it back out into a powered area before trying to take it on.

Note: Get this done in the first blackout zone because the enemies in the second one are much bigger, hit harder, and do more damage.

5. If you have already restored power to the Gas Works district then you have already locked out your last chance to obtain this trophy.

6. Once you are nearing the end of the game there may not be many more blackout areas in which you can obtain this trophy. It is best to do it on the main island as soon as you can before restoring power to the other side of the island.
