This guide will walk you through the ‘Get to the Perimeter Outpost’ level in Red Faction: Armageddon. Let’s get started!

Your mission is to destroy entrenched enemy. The Red Faction camp is under fire from the cultists. A lot of them are hiding in the building and firing rockets. The Scout Walker is perfect for taking them out. It has two attacks named the Convergence Laser and Electricity Arcs. The arcs hit an enemy and jump to another after a big damage. The Convergence Laser is slow to charge and fire but can be very devastating. They completely occupied the structures above and below you. Eliminate all of them with your weapon’s convergence laser and electricity arcs.

More cultists will shoot at you from a building and a Shiva Exo-Suit will also attack. Use the Convergence Laser to blow up the building’s façade and wipe out the remaining cultists with the electricity arcs. You have to get to the perimeter outpost. Trace the GPS markers below a ruined bridge and an old EDF outpost. You have to clear the area because within the outpost are armies of cultists in buildings and a Shiva. Rocket cultists will appear to the left and shots will also come from a wrecked bridge. Eliminate all of them.

After annihilating all of them and clearing the area, more will come out from the path ahead. Give them all you’ve got while looking at a bunker with a cultist in a turret. Another bunker at the left contains plenty of cultists too. Engage them while running through a right turn. At the bend, a Shiva, cultists, and enemy Scout Walker will block your way. You will be face to face with the intimidating enemy Scout Walker. Your goal now is to reduce this enemy into dust. While your convergence laser charges, use the wall in the rocks as cover. Your best move is to hit once and cover to win safely.

Move to the three buildings ahead occupied by a huge army of cultists. More cultists will be shooting at you from the cliff at the left and the bridge on top. Take them all out with your convergence laser. Use the Scout Walker to demolish the buildings. While pulverizing the building, shoot down the Shiva that will attack.

Move forward to the abandoned base while blasting cultists blocking your way. You will see an excavator digging into the rock. The machine is marked red by the HUD. Using the Convergence Laser, shoot it down for a big explosion.
