In The Face (Kill one of each enemy type with the Maul)
This guide will show you how you will be able to get the Red Faction: Armageddon In The Face achievement. It would be easier to gain this achievement by reading this before starting the game. So let’s start:
Achieving this Goal is quite long and hard, you need to kill one of each enemy type using only the Maul. As you go along the game, you need to seek 9 different Enemy types, these are the Creepers, Behemoths, Cultist Soldier, Ravagers, Tentacles, Wraiths, Beserkers, Monoliths, and Alpha Creeper (Larger Creeper).
1. Seek out a Cultist Soldier on the First Mission where you left behind by your squad. Next, de-activate the force-field by blowing up the 4 towers. Then, you’ll come to a door where you can visibly see 3 Cultist Soldiers. Run out immediately because you‘re guarded by your team, and hit 1 of the 3 guys using your Maul.

2. Seek a Creeper on the second mission where you get set up by Adam Hale and indulge into the mysterious hole. Creepers are easy to pinch off, but they climb high walls, have agile moves and always travel within a group. Creepers are spiked toothed aliens, have slender curved bodies and are not much of a threat.

3. Seek a ravager on second mission of the game. You can find a ravager at the mysterious hole where you get set up by Adam Hale. The ravagers possess the same attributes of creepers but only have guns on their arms that do a minute damage.

4. Monoliths (Green Claw) are found at the third mission of the game called “Road to Bastion”. Monoliths are quite hard, it takes 5 hits from a Maul to kill them. They are not that strong, but it will swarm many around you which makes them stronger. Locate the Gondola Station and immediately kill 1 monolith with a Maul, DON’T let them swarm! Otherwise they will do quite a bit of damage to you.

5. Beserkers are found at the mission “Road to Bastion” in the third level, they are slow moving targets and automatically explode when their health is low. Hit the beserker and after hitting them twice immediately step back 7 meters … be watchful of them exploding. It takes 2 hits to kill 1 beserker.

6. Find a Wraith on the fourth Mission named “Water Supplies, where you need to get the next Pumping Station after locating the Corporal. At the end, you will find out that the Corporal is dead. Right after the corporal’s corps you’ll eventually find a Wraith and when it appears kill it immediately. Because they turn to invisible and they alter your vision to distract their presence. It takes only one hit to kill a Wraith.

7. Behemoths are enormously big and powerful creature with a golden yellow color similar in appearance to a hippopotamus. Behemoths are hard to kill and spit out deadly acid. Use plasma launcher and assault rifles to weaken the creature and substitute your Maul to finish him off. Be aggressive and yet watchful of the Behemoth. You can locate the Behemoth at the seventh level on the mission to save Kara and get him to the surface.

8. Tentacles are long flexible monster, their mouth shapes like a flower with spikes. You can find a Tentacle on the Eight Mission named “The Rd Faction”, right after your exit at the APC. In this area you’ll get attacked by multiple aliens, just go down towards the left and you’ll find a tentacle. Hit the tentacle when their gathering and picking up debris. Use the assault rifle to lessening the health and substitute Maul for the kill.

9. Alpha Creeper is the last alien type and much larger than a creeper, they are evolved versions of a creeper. You can locate them on almost any part of the level. This creeper takes at least 2 hits from the Maul to die.
