This guide will walk you through the ‘Get to Winters’ level in Red Faction: Armageddon. Let’s get started!

Your new objective is to get to winters. You will have the flier as your new vehicle. Its weaponry is a powerful machine gun and five missiles packed in a single rocket. Get into the shield and take out the generator. It is marked in the HUD and a new objective will be revealed after the shields drop.

Your next mission is to eliminate infected targets. Two infected buildings are lined up for this purpose. Fly over the dropped shield and take a right turn to see the targets. The buildings will crumble if the missiles are aimed at the supports holding them on the ceiling. After eliminating the target, aim for the original plan again.

Trace the GPS markers and purple pointers leading to a large tunnel wherein a shield will stop you. You will encounter a generator marked red in the HUD. Use the missile to destroy it. As you move on through a passage, you will end up into a large chamber containing aliens and marauders in combat. You have the option to just move on or help the soldiers. As you turn into a huge road, aliens and a marauder buggy is in combat. Help the marauder buggy by taking out the aliens. The machine gun and a number of missiles will take care of the ravagers.

While moving up a tunnel, aliens and an alien shield structure will suddenly come out from the ground. You can take them out or just pass by a gigantic crevice with a glowing light that projects upward coming from the floor. You have to destroy infected targets in this area. You have seven targets to eliminate and another one is just above the bridge. Fire a missile burst while aiming for the ceiling.

All seven targets are in line within the huge tunnel. There are aliens from the buildings inside the tunnel walls that will shoot at you. There is a burning tunnel being blocked by rubbles. There is also a narrow passage with machinery and pipes. Tear down the huge cover then fly into the passage. While passing through the passage, ravagers hanging on the walls will shoot at you. Take a right turn into a larger passage as you shoot them down. Turn right again swiftly then take left and you will see an alien structure that generates a shield. Another turn to the left and a power generator will surprise you. Take down its shield by blasting it then move on deeper into the metal passages.

As pipes cross your way diagonally, take the left route and you will encounter an alien shield structure Thee is also an alien crud as you take a u-turn. As you move on, another alien shield structure will pop up. Take it out or proceed to a large circular device. A blue energy is coming out from it and it is blocking your way. Using the missiles, take out the exhaust ports. Another set of exhaust ports have to be destroyed on your way out to go back to the cave tunnels. There is a huge bridge that hangs over a lava pit and you have to destroy it to complete the mission. Keep moving because aliens as well as alien shield structures will continue to shoot at you. Use missiles to shatter the surface and supports of the bridge.
