Link will need to utilize many different objects if he wants to be successful in 3D in his new adventure. In this guide we will break down the many tools Link will be using to defeat his enemies in The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS.
Deku Shield

This weapon can be found in the Kokiri Forest where there is a shop in the corner of town by the entrance to the Great Deku Tree. Here you can buy a shield for 40 rupees. In case you are wondering how to get rupees you can throw rocks, open chests and cut grass to earn them. The shield from this shop is flammable but regular shields can be found all around the world.
Hylian Shield

For 80 rupees you can purchase this shield in Castle Town. Head to the entrance of Death Mountain were a guard will tell you to get it. Now when you go to get it it will be discounted. Now if that is still to much for you you can get it for free by getting it from the Kakariko Graveyard. Pull back one of the tombstones with grass in front of it and a hole will be revealed. Jump inside open the chest and there is a free shield waiting.
Mirror Shield

As an Adult you will find this in the Spirit Temple. To get to this point however you will need to get the Silver Gauntlets. This shield will reflect energy and sunlight that is necessary to finish the Spirit Temple.
Kokiri Sword

In the Kokiri Forest up on a hill is a small fenced area, next follow the route and look for a small crawl hole that is along the wall. This will lead to an enclosed area where a giant boulder that is just rolling around. Don’t get run over by the boulder but follow it, there is a treasure chest off to the side that has the sword.
Master Sword

This sword will be acquired as part of the story and really requires no special activity. Not only is it a weapon but it is the key to going back and forth from child to adult Link. It is more powerful than the Kokiri Sword.
Giants Knife

This weapon costs 200 rupees and proves to be even stronger than the Master Sword however when it is out you cannot use a shield. It also takes two hands to wield and will actually break after a few swings.
Biggoron’s Sword

This is the strongest sword you will receive in the game. It like the knife is very powerful but takes two hands to wield, however it does not break and can lay out enemies proving to be worth the sacrifice. Remember though you cannot beat the final boss with this sword you will need to land the killshot with the Master Sword.
Green Kokiri Tunic

This is Link’s standard outfit and you will have it automatically.
Red Tunic

This tunic is heat resistant and can allow you to stay in chambers of extreme heat longer. If your heading for the Fire Temple you will need this. You will receive it form Goron on Goron City.
Blue Tunic

With this tunic on you will be able to stay under water and never run out of air. If your heading to the water temple you will need this. After you melt the red ice surrounding King Zora he will give this to you.
Quivers

This is your standard quiver you receive with the Fairy Bow. In the beginning its capacity will be 30 arrows, some mini games will increase the capacity to 50.
Bomb Bag

You will receive this item in Dodongo’s Cavern and it will initially carry 20 bombs. In the Bombchu Game Corner in the Town Square you can upgrade the capacity by 10. If you bomb the rolling goron in Goron City it will be upped by 10 again.
Seed Bag

This is the standard bag for young Link and has a capacity of 30 seeds for Young Link’s slingshot. The capacity can be upgraded by 10 twice bumping the total to 50.
Goron Bracelet

After you play Saria’s Song for Darunia you will be given this in the story. It allows young Link to lift Bomb Flowers
Silver / Golden Gauntlets

As young Link you will acquire the Silver Gauntlets in the Spirit Temple but you will not be able to wear them until you are Adult Link. They will greatly increase Link’s strength and can be upgraded to Golden Gauntlets in Ganon’s Castle
Silver / Golden Scale

With this you will be able to dive up 6 seconds. You will receive this in the Rupee Diving game in Zora’s Domain. Once upgraded to gold you can dive for 9 seconds and it can be achieved by finishing the fishing mini game and getting the biggest fish in the pond.
Shard of Agony

You can acquire this in the Skulltula House. This gadget will alert you to hidden secrets.
