We’re here to walk you through the Legacy DLC for Dragon Age 2. Let’s get going!

From your house Go to the room on the left side of the writing desk and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs you will see an object called ‘Memento of Legacy’, walk over to it and activate it. After you have activated it you will be brought to a screen and will be asked to choose 3 characters (besides yourself, you are already chosen). When you have picked your three you will be given a cut scene.

After the cut scene start following the path using your mini-map. As you are moving through the trail you will hear voices, don’t be alarmed they wont attack you…yet. Sooner or later you will run into a dwarf, and you’ll get another little cut scene. Be prepared to fight after the cut scene and kill all the little buggers (dwarfs) off. There will be three Thugs from the cut scene, six archers, and about three more thugs.  After that fight go through the gate, and prepare for another fight. During this fight you will have to kill, 1 rhino thing, 4 thugs, and 4 archers. Once victorious, go up the left side barracks, go down on a nearby ramp behinds the barracks, and search the chest for the ‘Passage Key’. Now that you have the key you can go through the gate. Keep following the map until you are asked to venture forth.

Once you have ventured forth start following the map, but watch out! At the bottom of the first stair case you go down… there will be a spike trap! When you are down the second stair case you will be ambushed by two rhino.  After the rhino’s are finished off you will be attacked by thugs about seven of them.

When they are all dead, go through the door the thugs came out and go though the door at the far end of the room (you don’t have to go here, but you might find some nice stuff). Finish off  that room and go back down the stairs and out the door. Be prepared though, as there will be an ambush, with a lot of hostiles. Outside the gate follow the path on the right side down. Take the path all the way to a room below the gate, and search the old box for a key. When you have the key make your way back up to the gate. Watch out there will be another ambush. Dispatch the enemy then go to the gate and open it.

Inside the gate make your way down the stairs, look out there is a spike trap at the bottom, and start taking care of the enemies, after the two archers are dead start moving down another stair case, take care again though as there are spike traps at both the top and bottom. At the bottom of the second stair case, there will be two thugs, and one archer. Once you have taken care of them go inside Carta’s house.

Inside Carta’s house kill the two hostiles, and watch out for there is a blade trap on the floor. Once they are dead go on the blade trap track (it won’t activate) and go into the room the tracks go into. Go in through the door in the left side corner and  go down the stairs and start fighting all the dwarfs at the bottom. There are thugs on the bottom and archers on top. To get to the archers go through the door on the far left corner and up the stairs and turn right. I suggest not opening the cage with the rhino in it, you should see why (if not it attacks you).  On the right side of the cave is the passage you need to follow, follow it using your map. Sooner or later you will get a cut scene.
