!NOTE!

——
01. Prowler Leaper
——
“Leapers are hostile outcasts who live in the most remote and polluted places of Neo-Paris. Their mutation is related to an unknown form of Sensen implant rejection. They are both regressive and…Aggressive!”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Claw attack
Special Attack: Wall Attack – Prowler hangs on wall and waits to swoop down on a hostile target

These are the cannon fodder of the game. They are incredibly easy to defeat. Just use Power Pressens to get the job done sooner. If these guys are running around and there’s a tougher enemy in the same area that is doing a lot of damage, use these guys to heal before going back to face the tougher enemy.

——
02. Skinner Leaper
——
“Skinners are the strongest Leapers. Tall and hefty, they use nothing but brutal force to get rid of their enemies.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Punch
Special Attacks:
Rush – Skinner rushes toward his enemy to knock them down
Berserk – In the presence of other Leapers, the Skinner goes “berserk” and becomes invincible
Parry – Skinners will block most close combat attacks

These are the “Heavy” version of regular Leapers. They tend to block your strikes a lot, but a Power Pressen will break their block. When they are with other Leapers, they are invincible, and any attempts at attacking them will just force you to dodge out of their immediate counter-strike. Because of this, you need to kill all the other Leapers in the area and watch for his charge so that you can quickly dive out of the way if needed.

To Top

——
03. Enforcer
——
“Extremely disciplined and trained, S.A.B.R.E. Force Enforcers specialize in fast and non deadly intervention. The S.A.B.R.E. force protects and guarantees peace and order in Neo-Paris. It is funded by Memorize.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Tonfa attack
No special attack

Cannon fodder soldiers. You’ll have no problem with these guys.

——
04. Strangler Leaper
——
“Stranglers typically live in dark areas as they are extremely sensitive to light. They have developed their own techniques of Sensen manipulation.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Claw attack
Special Attack: Invisibility – Thanks to Sensen manipulation, Stranglers can briefly make themselves invisible to attack a target from behind

I don’t know why it says they are “briefly” invisible, because when ever you encounter these guys, they are invisible the ENTIRE fight unless you use the Sensen DOS to make them dizzy or if they are in light. Save your Sensen DOS for fights with these guys, and make sure you have Cooldown combos to use so you don’t have to wait around for the Sensen DOS to recharge.

To Top

——
05. AV-78 Zorn
——
“The AV-78 ‘Horn of Jericho’ AKA Zorn is a multifunction fighting robot, fully committed to the defense of private property. It also can be used as a bodyguard, sentinel, or bounty hunter.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Claw attack
Special Attacks:
Jump Attack – Zorn leaps and lands heavily on its target
“Smash” – Zorn smashes the ground to immobilize its target
“Sonic Boom” – Zorn releases a massive energy wave that will go through any obstacle

Zorn is actually part of a boss fight in the main game, so it is strange that he is even included in this journal at all. That being said, if you want more information on how to deal with Zorn, use the main walkthrough, as it will take you right to the parts where you are fighting the Zorn robots anyway and will provide more strategy based on the location you are in while fighting those particular Zorn robots.

——
06. Prison Enforcer
——
“‘Prison Enforcers’ have been specifically trained to protect the fortress of La Bastille and operate under direct rule from Madame. They are tougher than regular Enforcers and can use the Brain Lock ability to damage their enemies’ Sensen.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Tonfa attack
Special Attack: Brain lock – Enforcer grabs his enemy from behind and absorbs Focus from the Sensen port. All S-Pressens are disabled and enter a cool down state

This guy has an interesting Special Attack, but during my entire time with the game, I’ve never encountered them ever doing this.

To Top

——
07. Heavy Prison Enforcer
——
“Heavy armor version of the Prison Enforcer, equipped with a 3C shield.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Tonfa attack
Special Attacks:
Spartan attack – Enforcers regroup and rush their target
Brain lock – Enforcer grabs his enemy from behind and absorbs Focus from the Sensen port. S-Pressens are disabled and enter a cool down state

Same idea with the regular prisoner, except you have to blast their shield away with a Junk Shot. To do Junk Shot, aim at their shield with LB and then press RT. If playing on PS3, hold L1 and press R2. Logic Bombs also get rid of shields. You can also do the Sensen DOS and then run up behind them and hopefully defeat them with attacks before they can recover.

——
08. AV-48S Seraphim
——
“The Seraphim is a security robot created by Avran-Hesh laboratories. It is widely used to protect restricted access areas or manage hostile crowds. It will hover around and shoot from a distance, always staying out of reach.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Energy Bolt
Shield: The Seraphim momentarily activates a shield when shot at. It can still continue to shoot while the shield is on

These flying dudes can be a real pain in the neck. They show up and often just stay in one corner, shooting projectiles at you semi-constantly while you deal with ground forces. To defeat them, fire your Spammer at them, and they will throw up a shield. Dodge their projectiles by doing cartwheels back and forth until their shield burns out. You can also shoot the shield repeatedly with the Spammer to make it burn out quicker. One or two Junk Shots later, and they will blow up.

To Top

——
09. AV-48N Nephilim
——
“Like the Seraphims, Nephilims are used to protect restricted access areas. They anchor themselves in the ground, and will fire a strong burst of energy at anyone coming a bit too close to them.”

:ABILITIES:
Defenses:
Shield – Protects the Nephilim, but deactivates as it prepares to jump to a new anchor point
Shield Explosion – As the shield is deactivated, it will explode, dealing heavy damage to all targets in range

Rust in Pieces S Pressen makes these guys easy, and they often show up with other groups of enemies, so you can kill a whole bunch of birds (er…robots, mutants, and soldiers that is) with one stone (er…S Pressen that is). Otherwise, they are still easy to fight. They will jump in the air and then hook themselves into the ground to start an explosion in the area. Roll out of the danger zone, indicated by a bright red circle on the ground, and then you can attack them by repeatedly firing the Spammer or using the Junk Shot. Two Junk Shot blasts should kill them.

——
10. Reconversion Leaper
——
“Reconversion Leapers are the fruit of Dr. Quaid’s experimenations. Controlled remotely by Elite Enforcers, they are much more aggressive than regular Prowler Leapers.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Claw attack
Special Attack:
Reconversion attack – When “activated” by an Elite Enforcer, Reconversion Leapers will attack ferociously and relentlessly until their target dies

Later once you get the S-Pressen that allows you to simply go to the Elite Enforcer powering these dudes and take him out with the simple press of a button, these guys become even more pathetically easy. However, you could place a Logic Bomb on them and then get away before the explosion to watch them blow up, as they are tethered together pretty much and are all forced to be right by each other.

To Top

——
11. Elite Enforcer
——
“S.A.B.R.E. Force Elite Enforcers protect Memorize institutions such as its Head Office or Dr. Quaid’s secret labs. Thanks to a Sensen remote control, they are able to control Reconversion Leapers and make them extremely aggressive.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Tonfa attack
Special Attacks:
Electric Armor – A forcefield that causes damage to anyone striking it
Reconversion Remote – Boosts Leapers’ aggressiveness

You can’t hurt these guys without hurting yourself. You can use the Sensen Camo later on to defeat them with one hit, but otherwise you have to get creative with the combos in order to defeat them. This is the combo I suggest using when fighting the Elite Enforcer enemies:

Y + X (Regen) + Y (Link) + X (Regen) + Y (Regen)

——
12. Elite Heavy Enforcer
——
“Heavy armor version of the Elite Enforcer, equipped with a 3C shield.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Tonfa attack
Special Attacks:
Spartan Attack – Enforcers regroup and rush their target
Electric Armor – A forcefield that causes damage to anyone striking it
Reconversion – Boosts Leapers’ aggressiveness

Same as an Elite Enforcer, except with a shield. Junk Shot the shield to get rid of it, and then treat them like a normal Elite Enforcer from that point forward.

To Top

——
13. Heavy Enforcer
——
“Heavy armor version of the Enforcer, equipped with a 3C shield.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Tonfa attack
Special Attack:
Spartan Attack – Heavy Enforcers regroup, arm their shield, and rush their target

Junk Shot that shield out of the way and he’s just a regular old Enforcer for you to beat up on.

——
14. Mourner Leaper
——
“Mourners are the most evolved and complex kind of Leapers. Taller, more intelligent, they are able to hide amongst humans by projecting a fake image of them into the Sensens of nearby people. They are the leaders of the Leaper society.”

:ABILITIES:
Basic Attack: Claw Attack
Special Attacks:
Buff – Mourner absorbs fallen Prowlers’ energy and buffs the others (more damage)
Teleportation -Mourner teleports and moves quickly to backstab
Summoning – Mourner summons Prowlers to fight at his side

In the story of the game, you fight Johnny Greentooth, and this is the kind of Leaper that he is. Because I cover it extensively and it is more relevant in the main guide, please refer yourself there. The link is at the top of the page.
