If you thought beating Valve’s first zombie-killing game would be enough to take down those nasty, walking corpses, think again. Left 4 Dead 2 is swiftly limping its way to release, and it’s going to be jam-packed with plenty of new features to keep your zombicide count high.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth installment in the Harry Potter storyline which hit theaters this week. People seem to love or hate this story and I’m not referring to the Half-Blood Prince, but rather the Harry Potter story in whole. I am a fan. I’ve read the books and seen all the movies. I enjoy the movies but not nearly as much as the books but the last two movies have captured the essence of the books very well. The bottom line is that most books don’t translate well to the movie screen and is why they were books in the first place. Hollywood just has no creativity and has to steal from every print source they can. So, this is all I’ll say about the books and how they translate to the big screen as this is supposed to be a review about a movie. (more…)

Recently, Zenimax Media bought id Software. You may not have ever heard of Zenimax Media but they are the parent group (as most companies you know of have a parent company) of Bethesda Game Studios. id is best known for its Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein franchises. Both studios have promised to remain at their best as proven by their executives signing long-term contracts to continue their jobs. The question is…what does this mean to all of us gamers? (more…)

NCAA Football 10 comes to us on July 14th for the PC, XBOX360, PS3 andPS2! There is a ton of new stuff to talk about, including dynasty mode and road to glory mode. Halo: Reach comes to us in fall…of 2010. Oh well. This is a story about how the planet of Reach got conquered by the Covenant just before Master Chief took on his adventures. This will be a first person shooter of some sort but nothing more is known yet.

Starcraft II Terrans: Wings of Liberty is rumored to be coming out in late 2009 as I previously thought. Now the rumors that Christmas 2009 is looking more and more likely. To help get you ready for the first of three installments of Starcraft2, I’d like you to watch the Battle Reports that Blizzard has released.
