Why PS3 Can’t Cross Wii

May 25, 2008 By: Lynder Category: General 2 Comments →

All of the game industry leaders, and us mere mortals, are amazed at how much Wii has dominated its field. Not only is it an overnight success (well, sort of, it’s not like Nintendo has been a scary presence for Sony ages ago), but it seems to be keeping its momentum for quite some time now. A few years back, the experts and analysts said that it’s almost impossible for Wii to stay ahead of the game.

Kids Affected Emotionally?

May 22, 2008 By: Lynder Category: General 3 Comments →

There are around 5 million PS3 consoles being sold annually all over the world, Wii has reached the 4 million sales mark, and the Xbox has reached the magical seven figure sales (which is almost, if not slightly more than, Japan’s population rate). These figures may not be as accurate as we might have liked it to be, but one thing is for sure, these gaming consoles are selling fast. This means that a family with kids can have a single, if not two, consoles in their house… And for sure the kids are not letting them gather up dust.

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures

May 22, 2008 By: Oliver Category: General, Hot Games No Comments →

conan.jpgThis game, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, is unbelievable in the number of players that can interact and play together on this game. Traditionally, multiplayer games have the same type of story line with the same type of weapons, and even the same way to advance from one level to the next. The Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures places a whole new spin on multiplayer action-adventure games because the fighting and warfare takes place in first person and real time and the player is totally in control of his fighting moves. Each stroke of the sword is entirely controlled by the player. The player can do combo attacks by linking sword moves to magic spells and also to arrow attacks. Each attack is put into action with individual key commands.
