This trick is tough to pull off and will require some practice before using it in a race. Get to at least 80 mph. Press the Analog-stick backwards at an angle in the direction that you want to turn, so it is inverting your slide. As soon as you begin to turn, slam and hold the brakes. Force the Analog-stick sequentially around in an extreme circle. Release your brakes when you are about 75% through your turn. Slam your accelerator, and power yourself through the rest of the turn. At the end, it is recommended that you bank the car for a moment, because you do not want the it to fly out of control.

There will be two objectives you will have to do to unlock two kinds of cars. These two involve clean racing. For a clean race, avoid hitting any object that inflicts damage on your car, such as hitting another car, a wall, etc. Hitting road signs, going offroad, or
landing very hard on big jumps are excluded since those do not do any damage.

Do not turn on your sirens right away. Sneak up on them. When you are on them, turn on your sirens, spin them out, turn around, and hit them head on. This will result in a one hit bust every time.
Use the following to deal with speeders. When you first enter a track and you pass the introduction sequence, press X or the Right Analog-stick Up for gas while steering left or right. This allows you to turn slightly in the direction of the racers. Do this quickly
or you will lose your chance. When the actual game starts and you can drive, turn onto the road you have aligned yourself to. Do not use your boosts when making a 180 or a 360 degree turn because you will lose control. Since you are on the track, you need to drive fast to catch up to the racers. Use the boosts to aid you. Just because you have activated a boost, you do not need to use it to its full potential. If you need to, hit the brakes to slow down. Get relatively close to a racer before turning on the sirens. This will make it easier to deal with them. Use a boost to gain the edge and get in front of the vehicle. As mentioned, you do not have to exhaust it.
There are two kinds of useful stops to you can perform to bust a speeder. Either get in front and hit the brakes, or turn your car in the direction he will go next. Be careful not to pass the racer. If you do, he will go slower to try and avoid you, wasting valuable time.
When you are a cop, get into an area were you have some bit of room to swerve. Next do a California stop of the car you are chasing. This will make the car spin viciously out. Next, turn around as fast as you can and hit the front of the car. This will total the car and it will be a bust. Note: A California Stop is when you hit the back
left/right wheel with your front wheel. This will spin the car out.
When you are directly next to someone in a race and they are getting chased by a cop, if they are in front of you slow down to where you are directly behind them on either the left or the right. Slowly speed up to where the hood of your car is on the side next to their
trunk. Very quickly slam into their car to make them spin out of control. If they are too slow, they will be caught by the cop. After this happens, continue to do this until you are the only one
remaining.
How to unlock: L2, R2, L2, R2, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE
If you see a police car ahead, ram it to get him to chase you. Lose the police car and you will get extra points for a hit-and-run. Look for the dirt road shortcuts to lose the police and get ahead of other drivers.
Choose to be the police in Hot Pursuit mode. You will get 25,000 points each time you complete one mini-mission.
Start You're The Cop mode in single player under the beginner difficulty setting. Select either the Crown Victoria or the BMW M5 (the opponents are easier to catch). When you are racing and are approaching the finish line, press L2 to do a 360 camera spin. If you manage to get your car on the finish line when you do the 360 camera spin, you can gain 175,000 points, if you include a couple of jumps. Note: This only works once, so it must be done accurately.
In a one player race, when your back tires are on the finish line press L2 to do a 360 degree camera spin around the car. If done correctly, your score will now show about 180,000 points. If your back tires are barely on, then you will only receive about 2,000 points. Note: This can be performed more than once per race.
In a clean race, in order to unlock the car all you have to do is finish without hitting any walls.
Go to challenge mode, pick the Pursuit Crown Victoria, then choose Outback II and set it for two, four, or eight laps. When you start the race, get your top speed points then slow down to about 75 mph. Now, step on the gas and get your top speed points again. You can keep doing this as long as desired. You can also do this on any other track, but Outback II is the easiest.
Start championship event 12. Select the Aston Martin and choose an automatic transmission. Begin the race. Once you reach the finish line the first time, wait until you are over the line and press L2 for the special camera. Look at your point total. It should be about 180,000.
Play the National Forest track in You're The Cop mode with the Lamborghini cop car after it has been unlocked. At the beginning of the race, hit boost and do not worry about getting the opponents.
Near the beginning of the race, there will be a log above the road. If you go fast enough, you will get on top of the log and sit there for a little while. By doing this, you can sometimes get up to 1000 points.
Note: Two controllers, the Mustang Cobra, and the Corvette Z06 are required for this trick. Go to the Outback level. Let player one go ahead and go to the secret plane. Have player one go slowly up the ramp/plane and tries to get themself onto the edge of the ramp hanging off. Half of player one's car needs to be outside, and half inside. If done correctly, player one should be able to press X and not go anywhere. Player two then needs to go as fast as they can and ram straight into the back of player one. If player two goes fast enough and is aligned perfectly, they should be able to get up to 23,940 points.
In Hot Pursuit or Championship mode, it is possible to get a great amount of points. When racing, get the minimum position needed to proceed (for example, third, second, and first place). Race and get third place. When you get third place and collect your points, restart the race. Only this time, get second place. Collect your points, restart the race, and get first place. You now have the points of all three places and more than if you had just gotten first place the first time.
Compete Championship Event 24.
You must complete all events in Ultimate Racer and World Championship modes. Complete Bonus Event 31 for both to unlock Super Bonus Event 32. Either Event 32 in Ultimate Racer or World
Championship modes will unlock the same car. Complete Event 32 successfully and the Ferrari 360 Challenge is yours.

Enable the "McLaren F1 LM" code. Go to Hot Pursuit then go to Challenge mode. Set it to one player and single race. Next, go to "Setup" and put it on "Full Grid" and press X. Choose the McLaren F1
Lm. Next, choose the Outback course and set it to four laps. To get the car, lead all laps and finish first. To do this easier, as soon as you start, go to the left and stay there. Keep driving this way until you are where all the planes are. Keep going straight, and
once you have to go up the airplane, just keep going up until you are up and off. Drive straight when your reach the first tunnel.
Stay on the right and hit the sign that reads "Danger Keep Out". Keep driving straight until you are out. Note: There is a part where you cross a street; this is not the end the end of the tunnel --
just keep going straight. Continue driving as usual. As soon as you get to the signs telling you to turn right, go right next to the signs. Stay there and you will go on a secondary road. When it ends, just continue. Follow all of these steps on every lap to win.
When a car is being chased by the cops, get a short distance behind it and do a California Stop to it. It will spin him out and most of the time he will get stopped by the officer that is chasing him.
Note: A California Stop is when you hit the back left/right wheel with your front wheel. This will spin the car out.
Find a dividing road. Shortcuts work perfectly. When the helicopter is in front of you, it will follow the main road. It will not switch roads after it is on one. Go on the other road, and the helicopter will be gone.
If you have one or two police chasing you, swerve around things such as incoming traffic, trees, poles, or any other immobilized objects. The police may not see it and crash into it. This gives you an advantage to lose them. If you are way ahead of the pack and do not
feel like having a police on your tail, if your radar detector detects an incoming radar (or police), zoom on the road (R2) in front of you. See where the police are parked, and slam into the
back of their car. It will be a hit and run, but the police car will be dead. You will not even get a yellow star.
When you want to get rid of the cop chasing you at a close distance, get just behind him so that your front tire is touching his back tire. Now, turn your car slightly in the direction of the cop car. The officer will get turned around and end up facing in the wrong
direction. This should give you enough time to get away. If you are really lucky, he may hit the other racers and cause a big accident.
If you want to lose a cop that is directly behind you, slam on the brakes then ram into them to disable them. This also works on opponents. If you do not want to be chased when the radar detector senses a cop, press R2 to see what is up ahead. When you get close to the car, slam into its rear. The car will not be able to continue the pursuit. However, this does not work on opponents.
If you are cornered, press Reset Car to start back on the road and lose the cops.
Use the following trick to easily escape from police radar. When you get close to a cop, stay on the correct side of the road and drive 80 mph at the most.
When you have a cop on your tail, wait for it to come to your side. When it is trying to ram you from the side, brake as fast as possible. The best area to do this is at Coastal Parkland. The best
car to use to make you crack up at the cop is the McLaren F1 LM or the McLaren F1. If done correctly, you will see the cop ram into the wall.
In Hot Pursuit mode, whenever a police cruiser attempts to push you off the road try to push it towards the other side of the road. Eventually the cruiser will spin out of control and crash.

If you are getting chased by the cops, let the cop get a bit ahead of you and then do a California Stop to the officer. It should spin him out and you should only swerve slightly. This will give you plenty of time to get away from the cops. Note: A California Stop is when you hit the back left/right wheel with your front wheel. This will spin the car out.
If you use the Mercedes CLK GTR on Ancient Ruins, you can sometimes reach speeds over 1000 mph.
Race with a McLaren F1 NFS and get to the point where the wildfires and fire trucks are located. Slide into the side of the first fire truck. If you can slide almost parallel to it you can get inside of the truck. This is a good way to get rid of the cops, however you cannot get out again.
Select a very fast car (for example, Porche 911 Turbo or Mclaren F1). When you see a road block coming up on or before a turn, accelerate into the wall on the turn. Your car should do a slight
sideways hop over the road block. This must be timed precisely, and rarely works with spike strips. If not done correctly, your car will severely slam into the roadblock. This only can be done on slightly sharp turns.
Wait for the other racers to finish. Push one of the racers that has already finished to the first ramp after the tunnel. Position the car directly under the ramp and simply roll your car off the ramp on top of the other car. Now, let your car sit on the other car until
it slides off. This requires patience as the cars cannot be pushed very easily.
In explore mode (when you are in the city), if you spend your nitrous completely, go to any shop. Enter it, then exit. You will have your nitrous again.
To get easy points go slowly up the airplane's tail. Now, put you car halfway over. After awhile, hit the gas, wiggle, and try to get unstuck. You will get big air for about 1,000,000 points.
This trick requires two controllers. Set the controls to two players, single race, no other racers, catch up on, traffic off, and damage on. Have player one drive the Mustang Cobra SVT and player two the Corvette Z06. Choose the regular Outback level. When you start, follow the road to the secret with the open ended airplane.
Have player one drive up the secret and slow all the way down when in the airplane. Hit the accelerator slightly, so that half the Mustang is out of it and half of it is still inside. If you fall out, you will need to restart. If done correctly, if you slam the gas, you will not go anywhere. Remain there for about ten seconds, then have player two go through the same secret to the same location that player one is at. You must drive at full speed in the Corvette.
If player two hits player one directly in the rear end, the Mustang should fly up in the air and get about 7,200 points.
Game Hint: How to earn a Gold Medal on Hot Pursuit event 1, Lotus Elise Delivery
- From main menu, select Hot Pursuit and then choose event 1, Lotus Elise Delivery.
- After coming out of the first tunnel drive up the big hill and you will see the first cop on the side of the road. Drive the car as if you are going to take the shortcut to the right of the cop car, but steer left at the last moment and stay on the paved road. The cop will take the short cut and lose sight of you for a while.
- After driving across the iron-work bridge and through the underpass, another cop will be waiting on the left. Follow the fence line on the right very closely and take the shortcut down the hill. This will not only shave seconds off of your lap time, but help you to lose the cops.

If you have the Rear Mirror option on, you should see a meter (radar detection meter) at the bottom of it. If you do not see this meter, it indicates that there are no police in the current race. If you happen to see that meter at the bottom of your rear view mirror, be aware as there are law enforcers on that course.
When you are driving, be aware of the shadowed bar below the rearview mirror. It will start to climb with green and then red as you close in on a cop. If a cop is already chasing you and has issued a roadblock, watch the bar. If the strip started with yellow, it indicates that a road block is approaching.
Get 800,000 points to unlock the NFS edition of the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Turn the "Speech" option on high in the "Audio" screen when the police are on your tail, especially when police may be present on the race course. Be aware that the police may say something about
roadblocks and where they are, as well as what they may try to do to end your speeding frenzy.
To do this, you must wait for the police to choose the road block button. If you are going over 100 mph, they will choose a spike strip, but if you are going 100 mph or less, they will choose a barricade. Note: This only works if they call for a road block. If they call for a spike/barricade, then you cannot change that.

First, go to World Racing with two players. Choose a car and race. When race begins, exit. Go back into World Racing Challenge, then switch the two players option to one player. Choose the same car that appears. This is best done
with the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR. It is similar to free run, but you can win cars and get points.

Select two players, and in the options menu, change "Opponents" to "None". Back out and select one player. Go race and there should be no opponents, allowing easy wins and unlimited time to play on
jumps.
All of your opponents can be scared. If your opponents are directly besides you, suddenly steer towards them, as if you were trying to ram their car off the road. They will panic and veer away from your sudden move. If you are lucky, they may veer away too much, thus causing them to crash into an object, slowing them down. You can also do this to police that are on your tail.
Another way to slow down opponents is to get behind their car and ram it 180 degrees from the bottom left or right of it. Note: This can also be done to cops.
When you are driving on a straight road, let off of the gas for about one second then press X hard.
Choose a cop car in challenge mode. In the race, turn the sirens on. The cars will pull over.

On the upper-right corner of the screen are four star shadows. Each time you break a law or do something bad, you will get a yellow star. For example, a hit-and-run is two stars. If you get four yellow stars, you should beware of roadblocks, including the choppers.
This trick is tough to pull off and will require some practice before using it in a race. Get to at least 80 mph. Press the Analog-stick backwards at an angle in the direction that you want to turn, so it is inverting your slide. As soon as you begin to turn, slam and hold the brakes. Force the Analog-stick sequentially around in an extreme circle. Release your brakes when you are about 75% through your turn. Slam your accelerator, and power yourself through the rest of the turn. At the end, it is recommended that you bank the car for a moment, because you do not want the it to fly out of control.

There will be two objectives you will have to do to unlock two kinds of cars. These two involve clean racing. For a clean race, avoid hitting any object that inflicts damage on your car, such as hitting another car, a wall, etc. Hitting road signs, going offroad, or
landing very hard on big jumps are excluded since those do not do any damage.

Do not turn on your sirens right away. Sneak up on them. When you are on them, turn on your sirens, spin them out, turn around, and hit them head on. This will result in a one hit bust every time.
Use the following to deal with speeders. When you first enter a track and you pass the introduction sequence, press X or the Right Analog-stick Up for gas while steering left or right. This allows you to turn slightly in the direction of the racers. Do this quickly
or you will lose your chance. When the actual game starts and you can drive, turn onto the road you have aligned yourself to. Do not use your boosts when making a 180 or a 360 degree turn because you will lose control. Since you are on the track, you need to drive fast to catch up to the racers. Use the boosts to aid you. Just because you have activated a boost, you do not need to use it to its full potential. If you need to, hit the brakes to slow down. Get relatively close to a racer before turning on the sirens. This will make it easier to deal with them. Use a boost to gain the edge and get in front of the vehicle. As mentioned, you do not have to exhaust it.
There are two kinds of useful stops to you can perform to bust a speeder. Either get in front and hit the brakes, or turn your car in the direction he will go next. Be careful not to pass the racer. If you do, he will go slower to try and avoid you, wasting valuable time.
When you are a cop, get into an area were you have some bit of room to swerve. Next do a California stop of the car you are chasing. This will make the car spin viciously out. Next, turn around as fast as you can and hit the front of the car. This will total the car and it will be a bust. Note: A California Stop is when you hit the back
left/right wheel with your front wheel. This will spin the car out.
When you are directly next to someone in a race and they are getting chased by a cop, if they are in front of you slow down to where you are directly behind them on either the left or the right. Slowly speed up to where the hood of your car is on the side next to their
trunk. Very quickly slam into their car to make them spin out of control. If they are too slow, they will be caught by the cop. After this happens, continue to do this until you are the only one
remaining.
How to unlock: L2, R2, L2, R2, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE
If you see a police car ahead, ram it to get him to chase you. Lose the police car and you will get extra points for a hit-and-run. Look for the dirt road shortcuts to lose the police and get ahead of other drivers.
Choose to be the police in Hot Pursuit mode. You will get 25,000 points each time you complete one mini-mission.

In a one player race, when your back tires are on the finish line press L2 to do a 360 degree camera spin around the car. If done correctly, your score will now show about 180,000 points. If your back tires are barely on, then you will only receive about 2,000 points. Note: This can be performed more than once per race.
In a clean race, in order to unlock the car all you have to do is finish without hitting any walls.
Go to challenge mode, pick the Pursuit Crown Victoria, then choose Outback II and set it for two, four, or eight laps. When you start the race, get your top speed points then slow down to about 75 mph. Now, step on the gas and get your top speed points again. You can keep doing this as long as desired. You can also do this on any other track, but Outback II is the easiest.
Start championship event 12. Select the Aston Martin and choose an automatic transmission. Begin the race. Once you reach the finish line the first time, wait until you are over the line and press L2 for the special camera. Look at your point total. It should be about 180,000.
Play the National Forest track in You're The Cop mode with the Lamborghini cop car after it has been unlocked. At the beginning of the race, hit boost and do not worry about getting the opponents.
Near the beginning of the race, there will be a log above the road. If you go fast enough, you will get on top of the log and sit there for a little while. By doing this, you can sometimes get up to 1000 points.
Note: Two controllers, the Mustang Cobra, and the Corvette Z06 are required for this trick. Go to the Outback level. Let player one go ahead and go to the secret plane. Have player one go slowly up the ramp/plane and tries to get themself onto the edge of the ramp hanging off. Half of player one's car needs to be outside, and half inside. If done correctly, player one should be able to press X and not go anywhere. Player two then needs to go as fast as they can and ram straight into the back of player one. If player two goes fast enough and is aligned perfectly, they should be able to get up to 23,940 points.
In Hot Pursuit or Championship mode, it is possible to get a great amount of points. When racing, get the minimum position needed to proceed (for example, third, second, and first place). Race and get third place. When you get third place and collect your points, restart the race. Only this time, get second place. Collect your points, restart the race, and get first place. You now have the points of all three places and more than if you had just gotten first place the first time.
Compete Championship Event 24.
You must complete all events in Ultimate Racer and World Championship modes. Complete Bonus Event 31 for both to unlock Super Bonus Event 32. Either Event 32 in Ultimate Racer or World
Championship modes will unlock the same car. Complete Event 32 successfully and the Ferrari 360 Challenge is yours.

Cheat Masters ContestEnable the "McLaren F1 LM" code. Go to Hot Pursuit then go to Challenge mode. Set it to one player and single race. Next, go to "Setup" and put it on "Full Grid" and press X. Choose the McLaren F1
Lm. Next, choose the Outback course and set it to four laps. To get the car, lead all laps and finish first. To do this easier, as soon as you start, go to the left and stay there. Keep driving this way until you are where all the planes are. Keep going straight, and
once you have to go up the airplane, just keep going up until you are up and off. Drive straight when your reach the first tunnel.
Stay on the right and hit the sign that reads "Danger Keep Out". Keep driving straight until you are out. Note: There is a part where you cross a street; this is not the end the end of the tunnel --
just keep going straight. Continue driving as usual. As soon as you get to the signs telling you to turn right, go right next to the signs. Stay there and you will go on a secondary road. When it ends, just continue. Follow all of these steps on every lap to win.
When a car is being chased by the cops, get a short distance behind it and do a California Stop to it. It will spin him out and most of the time he will get stopped by the officer that is chasing him.
Note: A California Stop is when you hit the back left/right wheel with your front wheel. This will spin the car out.
Find a dividing road. Shortcuts work perfectly. When the helicopter is in front of you, it will follow the main road. It will not switch roads after it is on one. Go on the other road, and the helicopter will be gone.
If you have one or two police chasing you, swerve around things such as incoming traffic, trees, poles, or any other immobilized objects. The police may not see it and crash into it. This gives you an advantage to lose them. If you are way ahead of the pack and do not
feel like having a police on your tail, if your radar detector detects an incoming radar (or police), zoom on the road (R2) in front of you. See where the police are parked, and slam into the
back of their car. It will be a hit and run, but the police car will be dead. You will not even get a yellow star.
When you want to get rid of the cop chasing you at a close distance, get just behind him so that your front tire is touching his back tire. Now, turn your car slightly in the direction of the cop car. The officer will get turned around and end up facing in the wrong
direction. This should give you enough time to get away. If you are really lucky, he may hit the other racers and cause a big accident.
If you want to lose a cop that is directly behind you, slam on the brakes then ram into them to disable them. This also works on opponents. If you do not want to be chased when the radar detector senses a cop, press R2 to see what is up ahead. When you get close to the car, slam into its rear. The car will not be able to continue the pursuit. However, this does not work on opponents.
If you are cornered, press Reset Car to start back on the road and lose the cops.
Use the following trick to easily escape from police radar. When you get close to a cop, stay on the correct side of the road and drive 80 mph at the most.
When you have a cop on your tail, wait for it to come to your side. When it is trying to ram you from the side, brake as fast as possible. The best area to do this is at Coastal Parkland. The best
car to use to make you crack up at the cop is the McLaren F1 LM or the McLaren F1. If done correctly, you will see the cop ram into the wall.
In Hot Pursuit mode, whenever a police cruiser attempts to push you off the road try to push it towards the other side of the road. Eventually the cruiser will spin out of control and crash.

If you are getting chased by the cops, let the cop get a bit ahead of you and then do a California Stop to the officer. It should spin him out and you should only swerve slightly. This will give you plenty of time to get away from the cops. Note: A California Stop is when you hit the back left/right wheel with your front wheel. This will spin the car out.
If you use the Mercedes CLK GTR on Ancient Ruins, you can sometimes reach speeds over 1000 mph.
Race with a McLaren F1 NFS and get to the point where the wildfires and fire trucks are located. Slide into the side of the first fire truck. If you can slide almost parallel to it you can get inside of the truck. This is a good way to get rid of the cops, however you cannot get out again.
Select a very fast car (for example, Porche 911 Turbo or Mclaren F1). When you see a road block coming up on or before a turn, accelerate into the wall on the turn. Your car should do a slight
sideways hop over the road block. This must be timed precisely, and rarely works with spike strips. If not done correctly, your car will severely slam into the roadblock. This only can be done on slightly sharp turns.
Wait for the other racers to finish. Push one of the racers that has already finished to the first ramp after the tunnel. Position the car directly under the ramp and simply roll your car off the ramp on top of the other car. Now, let your car sit on the other car until
it slides off. This requires patience as the cars cannot be pushed very easily.
In explore mode (when you are in the city), if you spend your nitrous completely, go to any shop. Enter it, then exit. You will have your nitrous again.
To get easy points go slowly up the airplane's tail. Now, put you car halfway over. After awhile, hit the gas, wiggle, and try to get unstuck. You will get big air for about 1,000,000 points.
This trick requires two controllers. Set the controls to two players, single race, no other racers, catch up on, traffic off, and damage on. Have player one drive the Mustang Cobra SVT and player two the Corvette Z06. Choose the regular Outback level. When you start, follow the road to the secret with the open ended airplane.
Have player one drive up the secret and slow all the way down when in the airplane. Hit the accelerator slightly, so that half the Mustang is out of it and half of it is still inside. If you fall out, you will need to restart. If done correctly, if you slam the gas, you will not go anywhere. Remain there for about ten seconds, then have player two go through the same secret to the same location that player one is at. You must drive at full speed in the Corvette.
If player two hits player one directly in the rear end, the Mustang should fly up in the air and get about 7,200 points.
Game Hint: How to earn a Gold Medal on Hot Pursuit event 1, Lotus Elise Delivery
- From main menu, select Hot Pursuit and then choose event 1, Lotus Elise Delivery.
- After coming out of the first tunnel drive up the big hill and you will see the first cop on the side of the road. Drive the car as if you are going to take the shortcut to the right of the cop car, but steer left at the last moment and stay on the paved road. The cop will take the short cut and lose sight of you for a while.
- After driving across the iron-work bridge and through the underpass, another cop will be waiting on the left. Follow the fence line on the right very closely and take the shortcut down the hill. This will not only shave seconds off of your lap time, but help you to lose the cops.

If you have the Rear Mirror option on, you should see a meter (radar detection meter) at the bottom of it. If you do not see this meter, it indicates that there are no police in the current race. If you happen to see that meter at the bottom of your rear view mirror, be aware as there are law enforcers on that course.
When you are driving, be aware of the shadowed bar below the rearview mirror. It will start to climb with green and then red as you close in on a cop. If a cop is already chasing you and has issued a roadblock, watch the bar. If the strip started with yellow, it indicates that a road block is approaching.
Get 800,000 points to unlock the NFS edition of the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Turn the "Speech" option on high in the "Audio" screen when the police are on your tail, especially when police may be present on the race course. Be aware that the police may say something about
roadblocks and where they are, as well as what they may try to do to end your speeding frenzy.
To do this, you must wait for the police to choose the road block button. If you are going over 100 mph, they will choose a spike strip, but if you are going 100 mph or less, they will choose a barricade. Note: This only works if they call for a road block. If they call for a spike/barricade, then you cannot change that.

First, go to World Racing with two players. Choose a car and race. When race begins, exit. Go back into World Racing Challenge, then switch the two players option to one player. Choose the same car that appears. This is best done

Select two players, and in the options menu, change "Opponents" to "None". Back out and select one player. Go race and there should be no opponents, allowing easy wins and unlimited time to play on
jumps.
All of your opponents can be scared. If your opponents are directly besides you, suddenly steer towards them, as if you were trying to ram their car off the road. They will panic and veer away from your sudden move. If you are lucky, they may veer away too much, thus causing them to crash into an object, slowing them down. You can also do this to police that are on your tail.
Another way to slow down opponents is to get behind their car and ram it 180 degrees from the bottom left or right of it. Note: This can also be done to cops.
When you are driving on a straight road, let off of the gas for about one second then press X hard.
Choose a cop car in challenge mode. In the race, turn the sirens on. The cars will pull over.
