In Backyard Soccer MLS Edition, kids experience the camaraderie of neighborhood pick-up games with some of professional soccer's best athletes as playmates. Young coaches can choose pint-size versions of top MLS and U.S. Women stars along with favorite Backyard Kids to build their very own Backyard Soccer team. Each character brings his or her own unique soccer skills to the field. Young coaches quickly learn the importance of knowing each player's strengths andweaknesses because a little lack of coordination or the occasional daydreaming can be the downfall of an otherwise solid team. Veteran backyard announcer Sunny Day provides entertaining play-by-play chatter with color commentary from Earl Grey, a kid with his own wacky sense of English humor. The Backyard Kids: Found in every Humongous Sports title, the Backyard Kids are 30 of the zaniest kids from the neighborhood. Each member of the Backyard Kids has been carefully hand-drawn and animated so young coaches can choose to place them in any position on the field. By bringing different personal characteristics and athletic ability to the playing field, each Backyard Kid plays better or worse depending upon the situation. So, whether it's Dmitri Petrovich heading the ball into the goal or Stephanie Morgan dribbling the ball downfield, kids learn which players to pick to round out their roster.
