Win the game under the normal difficulty setting.
Critical (Issen) mode:
Win the game under the hard difficulty setting. In this mode, only critical hits can kill opponents.
Win the game under the normal difficulty setting with a high score as Jacques. Alternatively, successfully win the game as Samanosuke's alternate costume.
Level up your Oni Gauntlet to level 3.Now,when there are a lot of Genma, charge your weapon to level 3 or until it is purple. When a Genma attacks, do a critical while the weapon is still charged.
*** Deflect Critical does not work -- only Critical. This most useful at the Dark Realms and Azuchi Castle.
Win the game under the normal difficulty setting.
Michelle's 2nd alternate costume:
Win the game with an "Onimusha" rank. Alternatively,
play the game with a memory card with a saved game from Onimusha Blade Warriors.
Win the game in Critical (Issen) mode.
Have Jacques go through the Phantom Realm in Honnouji.
Adventures of Heihachi (Heihachi Buraiden) mode: Win the game. Heihachi (Honda) is now selectable.

Win the game under the normal difficulty setting.
Win the game with all 3 items from the Phantom Realms. Now, start a new game to have all 3 swords from the original Onimusha: Warlords.
Alternatively, play the game with a memory card with a saved game from Onimusha: Warlords.
Complete secret training mode. Alternatively, play the game with a memory card with a saved game from Onimusha Blade Warriors.
There are 15 puzzle boxes in the game. Finish all 15 will get you Puzzle Phantom Realm
when you win the game.
Win the game on normal difficulty. Two ranking screens will be available. The 1st one displays the individual scores for each character while the 2nd displays an overall letter grade and any earned titles.
