| First you must acquire a petpet Krawk [rare find in the Tyrannian petpet shop, otherwise auctions and the trading post might be the best chance of finding one for sale]. Make sure that you have no more than three pets. If you have four, you will have to abandon one at the Pound [take off any petpets and worn/equipped items to make sure you don't lose them]. Attach the petpet Krawk to one of your pets and give it a name [click on the petpet picture on your Quick Reference page]. The name you give it will become the name of your pet Krawk, so be sure to choose one you like. Since no two pets may share the same name, it is important that the name given to the Krawk is unique. You can check that no other pets have your chosen name by doing a search for it in the search box. If you know you want your Krawk to be painted a certain color that is available to both petpet and pet versions [the list of possible petpet and pet Krawk color options can be found at the Rainbow Pool in Neopia Central] it might be cheaper to paint the petpet version since petpet paint brushes are generally cheaper than pet paint brushes. The pet Krawk's color should end up the same as the petpet Krawk as long as both are able to be painted that color. Now that you have no more than three pets and a uniquely named petpet Krawk, it's time to visit the Fungus Caves on Krawk Island.
