Patriot:
To get The Boss' gun, the Patriot, successfully win the game.
This gun fires like a machine gun and carries unlimited ammo. However, if you use it during game play it will lower your rank at the end.



Save the game immediately after Snake is captured in Groznyj Grad. Do not overwrite this file. When you load it, you can play the Snake's Nightmare mini-game.
Hint: Eva's bathing suit:
After you crash with Eva, after beating the Shagohod there will be 2 more areas before you reach The Boss. In the 2nd area, there will be a fork. There will be a tree at the very beginning of the right fork. Go behind it and enter 1st person view. Shoot the frog. Now, get near Eva and open up the survival viewer. Go to Cure", then to Eva. She should now be in her bathing suit.



Defeat The Boss to get the Snake camouflage.

Sneaking camouflage:
Return to the locker where you originally stuffed Major Raidenkov into. This can only be done after you get your equipment from Eva under the waterfall. When you return to the locker and open it, instead of Raidenkov's body being inside, you will find the Sneaking Suit. Put on the mask and the Sneaking Suit for some old fashioned 1960's Raiden action.

*** Across from the suit and about 2 doors down is a worker's costume. This will allow you to plant the C3 with no trouble, as the entire room is full of them. *** Do not use the mask as they will recognize that Ivan is dead.



When you get to Balshaya Past Base, go to the south. There should be a turret. To the left of the turret is a tunnel. Go into the tunnel.
Under the 1st wooden bridge, there will be the Snow Face Paint.



Be careful when using the sonar. If you are close to an enemy and use it, they can hear the sonar "beep". This has the potential of putting them on alert.



The Fear's Spider Camo is one of the best in the game. It will raise you camo up to 75 to 80 no matter where you are, but there is a catch. When wear it, the camo will drain your stamina. It is best to only use it when absolutely needed.
