| Every 10 versus battles unlocks either a venue or a character. The easiest way to do this is on the bridge level, with a 2nd controller. Throw your opponent off the edge of the bridge for an easy victory. Use Spider Man's web throwing move against any enemy against an idle player two. Keep selecting "Rematch" to speed up the process. In versus mode, start by using The Thing and keep fighting Wolverine. Once you unlock Venom, start using him. Use his Web Toss with your back to a wall. This best done at the Daily Bugle because of easily breaking walls. You will unlock Venom after seventy versus matches. Also, set your lives to five (or more if you are a beginner), and set your enemies lives to one. | ||

Finally throw another car and that car would blow up that first car because if you fast enough your enemy should be getting up. If the cars blow up and hit your enemy he/she/it should be almost dead. | ||
