| GTS Cloning Glitch | 50% | |
| The method is fairly simple, but requires precise timing, which can be facilitated if your DS is the only thing connected through your wireless router. (Not sure if there is a way to time it precisely without a router) Basically, what the glitch does, is put your pokemon up on the GTS for whatever you're asking for, while corrupting your current save data, and reverting to the previous save. This means that Nintendo's servers have your pokemon (with any item you equipped to it) saved on their servers, while it is still on your game also, since your save which would have known it was on the GTS was corrupted. Basically, you put your pokemon up on the GTS for something (preferably something nobody would have, like a lv 9 or under torterra, so you don't end up losing your pokemon altogether). When you comfirm it being put up for offer, there is a clock icon that appears in the lower/right corner of your screen. Depending on many things, including signal strangth, it seems to take 7-8 revolutions of the clock to finalize and save your posted offer. The glitch only works if you turn your power off the instant your DS begins recieving data back from the GTS servers, to save the game without the pokemon on it. How do you time this you might ask? well, you can either try posting a pokemon a couple times, and try to predict exactly where the clock points when you need to turn your DS off, or, assuming your DS is the only thing connected to your router, watch the "blinking lights" that blink whenever data is transmitted. it should blink instantly after you comfirm the trade, and also sometime between 7-8 revolutions. TURN THE DS OFF IMEDIATLY WHILE THE LIGHT IS BLINKING. If you do it too soon, your data corrupts and reverts to the old save, leaving your pokemon wherever it was prior to uploading. If you do it too late, your pokemon is on the GTS, but if done right, your game will corrupt and revert to the previous save, leaving the poke where it was, and also on the GTS. I have failed many times and have succeeded many times Good Luck! | ||

After that you need to go to the town wih a pokemon center. Then turn on your other game in your other DS or DSi and get yourself to a pokemon center. Trade your starter for any pokemon then ounce thats done save your old game and turn off the new game without saving the new game. | We all know Rotom's a legendary, but it can lay EGGS. Not a single legendary has layed an egg but Rotom. Since Rotom has no gender, you need a Ditto! Go to route 218 and use the poke radar. You will get Ditto after a while. Take it to Solaceon town and put it in the day care with Rotom. Check the day care app and it MAY show an egg. That means ROTOM LAYED AN EGG! | Okay, we all know that Piplup and Turtwig are the ones that most peopole pick because they are easy to raise and have an advantage over the first few gyms. But here's the downfall: Empolean (highest form of Piplup) gets killed at the 3rd gym (fighting type) and also at teh 8th gym (electric). Torterra (highest form of Turtwig) gets murdered at the 7th Gym (Ice) and on the 3rd of the Elite 4 (fire). So, we're left with Chimchar. It may be at a disadvantage at the first gym, which we all know is Rock type, but there's a positive- When Chimchar evolves at Lv. 14 it becomes a Fight Type as well as a Fire Type. So when it evolves, have it learn Mach Punch and Rock Smash, and then battle every Trainer you see and then when there are no more battle wild Pokemon until your Monferno (evolved form of Chimchar) is about a Lv. 18, then stock up on Potions at the Poke Mart and challenge the Gym. The Gym Trainers are easy enough, but the Leader, Roark, is another story. He has a Geodude, Onix, AND a Cranidos. Even though Cranidos is the highest Level (14), Onix is the hardest to defeat because it has the highest defense. So once you beat Onix, you're in the clear. Now, for the 2nd Gym, It's a breeze- Power down all the weak Grass Type Pokemon with Fire Spin and use Ember on those who can poison your Pokemon with Poison Point. Gardenia has a Lv. 19 Cherubi (I think) a Lv. 19 Turtwig and a Lv. 22 Roserade, so I reccomend your Monferno to be at Lv. 25 at least. (Hint: Get the EXP. Share from Lucas's dad in Eterna City, same place as the 2nd Gym and give it to Monferno) For the 3rd Gym, it's Fighting Type, so train up your Monferno with the EXP. Share until it evolves at Lv. 36 into an Infernape. Teach it Close Combat and head for Veilstone City and the 3rd gym. Don't forget to buy lots of Super Potions at the Department Store! Now, there are 4 Trainers to beat before you reach the Gym Leader, Maylene. Then you ahve to solve a maze of sliding panels to get to her. SAVE BEFORE YOU BATTLE HER. Maylene has a Lv. 27 Meditite, a Lv. 27 Machoke, and a Lv. 30 lucario, so have your Infernape at Lv. 37+ (Mine was at Lv. 40) The fourth Gym is a bit of a challenge, being a Water Gym. But if you have carefully trained your Infernape it is virtually indestructable. Now, you have to find the way to the Gym leader yourself since I can't remember right off the bat ^^' Crasher Wake has A Lv. 27 Gyarados, a Lv. 27 Quagsire and a Lv. 30 Floatzel, so be on your toes and train your Infernape until you think you can handle it. ALWAYS SAVE BEFORE A GYM BATTLE and stock up on Hyper Potions. (Hint: Have your Infernape know the move Return.) Fantina is the 5h Gym Leader at Hearthome City and uses Ghost type, so your Infernape's Fight Type moves will be useless, as well as Normal Type moves. I'd reccomend teaching Infernape lots of Fire Type moves. She has a Lv. 32 Drifblim, a Lv. 34 Gengar, and a Lv. 36 Mismagius. She'll send out Gengar last, and watch out for it's Sucker Punch (I think that's the name of the move) because it always strikes first. Surge on and show no mercy! In Canalave City is the 6th Leader, Byron. Here's a twist: He's Roark's dad! He uses Steel Type Pokemon, so you are at a HUGE advantage with your Fire/Fighting Type Infernape. Save Close Combat for Byron and use Mach Punch and Rock Smash on the Trainers. Byron has: Lv. 36 Bronzor, Lv. 36 Steelix and Lv. 39 Bastiodon, so definetely be at least at Lv. 50. Candice, Snowpoint City's Leader, uses Ice type Pokemon, so again you're at an advantage. You must slip and slide around until you get to her (Sound familiar? Pokemon Silver XD) She has 2 Pokemon at Lv. 38, Snover and Sneasel, a Lv. 40 Medicham and a Lv. 42 Abomasnow. Watch out for Abomasnow's Snow Warning- it's make a blizzard that pelts your Pokemon with Hail and takes away a few HP every turn. Finally, the 8th Gym Leader: Volkner. You've come far to beat him, but first you have to meet him at the Lighthouse and arouse his curiostity. Then you head back to the gym and get ready fro the Last Gym Match. Avoid using contact moves because lots of the Pokemon there have the ability Static, and you don't want your Infernape paralyzed at every other turn. Volkner has 4 Pokemon, going from Lv. 46 up to Lv. 49. His Pokemon (following that Lv. Up order) are Raichu, Ambipom, Octillery and Luxray. Octillery, you can use your contact fight type moves to destroy it before it can attack. Once you've beaten him you're ready for the Pokemon League! | ||

| If you're one of the many people who have obtained a Turtwig in a trade, here's a good way to train it: First, let it hold the Exp. Share and train it until it's a Grotle. Battle some of the hikers northeast of Floaroma, then when it's in its late twenties till level 31, you can start walking around in the VERY FIRST room of Iron Island using Razor Leaf on the Gravelers and Geodudes. When it FINALLY becomes a Torterra, keep on training it until about level 38 in Iron Island (Onix are always good targets). After this, fly to Veilstone anf go south. When you're at the area a bit south, where all in the same screen there is a black haired guy, a fat guy who is kind of walking, and a blond haired girl, use the Versus Seeker. Battle them (especially black hair dude) over and over again, focusing on Razor Leaf as your main move. Bite is good for the fat guy with the Ponytas. Eventually, you will learn Crunch. If you want an excellent move (that has lots of recoil, but oh well) then make sure you have a heart scale in your bag and go to Pastoria City. In a house by the water, there will be a guy. He's the Move Relearner. Select your Torterra, and teach it Wood Hammer. It should hopefully be in its mid-forties by now! | ||
